Happy Wednesday (said no one ever)! Hopefully God is blessing you this week and that you are looking for opportunities to grow. This week we continue to look at the OT and NT complimenting one another as we learn about how a code that a man lived by in Genesis 4 is referenced by Jesus Himself in Matthew.

I love the way that the Old Testament and New compliment one another. This week we look into the parallels between Isaac and Jesus. Open up to Genesis 22 and follow along.

We often pray that God will heal us of our ailments in this life, but what if God can use those things to help you find faith and true strength. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians that we should "Boast gladly about weakness" and "When we are weak, we are strong" in today's message.

Does it bother you when the wicked prosper? Do you feel like you are exhausted by seeing the rich get richer, the powerful gain more power? If so, you may be able to relate to the psalmist in Psalm 73. Listen, and see what you do when life doesn't seem fair.

Today's recording was recorded while riding in the car(safely), forgive the extra noise, I tried to clean it up a little. :)

I'm willing to bet you've done a few things in your life begrudgingly. Maybe at work, for your family, or even for your church. Today we talk about doing God's will even when it's not something we want to do, care to do, or feel much reward for.

As July comes to an end, I've been reflecting on the idea of freedom. 250 years is a long time to be free as a country, and most of us have know that freedom all of our lives. In John 8, Jesus speaks to free people about a different kind of freedom. Listen in and learn more.
