Central Avenue United Methodist Church Worship: 9:30 a.m. Uptown (29 E. Carpenter). 11 a.m. Westside (73 Central Ave). We meet on weekends at two locations in Athens, Ohio. We gather at 9:30 a.m.

Here at Central you’ll find a friendly mix of college students and townfolk, young and old, from a variety of nationalities and ethnic backgrounds-in fact, a pretty good reflection of the Athens community as a whole. Just a heads up if you haven't been in the Uptown area: Carpenter St. is only accessible one-way from the west. If coming from the east, follow detour signs if coming to Uptown services and parking along Court St. (Currently, traffic cannot make a left from Court St. onto Carpenter)

Might plan leaving a little early for Uptown services this Sunday if you need time navigating your arrival and don't want to miss worship! We can't wait to see you though! 9:00am Uptown and 11am Westside

Thankful to have our own Lindsay Hinze blessing the bikes this morning for the Athena Ride for Women before they head out. Prayers for safety and joy along their way.

The Athena Ride for Women is a four-day, women-only motorcycle rally held in Athens. This is the ride's 5th year.

Their goal is to foster a community of women riders while supporting My Sister’s Place, a local agency supporting survivors of domestic violence in Southeast Ohio.
