In a world that often tells LGBTQ+ people to hide, shrink, or apologize for who they are, we believe in a God who delights in the fullness of who you are.

Not despite your identity. Not after you change. Not once you fit someone else’s expectations.
Just as you are.

The story of Scripture is not one of exclusion, but of a love that continually widens the table and liberates all from human-made barriers. Your life, your gifts, your story, and your identity are not mistakes to be corrected but are part of the beautiful person God created.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the sacred worth of LGBTQ+ people and recommit ourselves to building a community where everyone, everyone, everyone can belong, flourish, and be fully known.

You are loved. You are beloved. You are created in the image of God.

✨Grad Spotlight✨

Last but certainly not least, congrats to Kenzie who is graduating with a degree in Women’s Studies. Kenzie will be taking a gap year to work as physical therapy technician before applying to PT School.

Kenzie has served as President of the Table this year, and we are so proud of the thoughtfulness and kindness she brought to that role! It has been inspiring to see her grow as a leader and as an advocate for her community, and we know that God will continue to guide her to affect change wherever she goes! ❤️

Congrats to Annie who is graduating with degrees in Biology and Psychology. This Fall, she will start Medical School at Mercer University School of Medicine!

Annie is going to bring so much empathy and kindness to her practice in medicine, and her patients will be so lucky to have her as their doctor! We are so proud of her and all the joy she has brought to the Table community these past few years 🩺

Congrats to Kaz who is graduating with a Masters in College Student Affairs Administration! This summer, Kaz will be starting a job in housing at Emory University.

We have been so lucky to have Kaz for a few extra years as they finished grad school. We were so proud to have gotten to learn from them and watch them grow into the leader they are. Those future students they will mentor are so lucky to have them! 🎓

Congrats to Tatum who is graduating with a degree in English Education. This summer she will begin a fellowship with Appalachian Service Project.

Tatum has been a faithful leader at the Table since her Freshmen year and could always be counted on for a listening ear, compassionate advice, support with power tools, or a ridiculous story. Tatum’s desire for justice for vulnerable communities drives her calling to be a change-maker, and we couldn’t be more proud of the person she is! 🔨

Congrats to Ailey who is graduating with a million degrees (we couldn’t fit them all here) in International Affairs, Religion, and Political Science. This Fall, she will begin an M.Div. Program at Yale Divinity School.

It has been such a joy to watch Ailey grow and discern her own calling as a peacemaker and bridge builder in our conflict-stricken world. Ailey lives with an immense Christ-like compassion and love, and we cannot wait to see how God leads her to bring that same compassion and love to her future communities 🕊️

🎓 Congratulations to our brilliant and talented Hugh Hodgson School of Music graduates, Marianna, Moses, Hsin (Cindy), and Ricardo!
Week in and week out, these four students have planned, arranged, rehearsed, and led the rest of us in weekly worship at The Table. Their dedication to their craft, and to using their gifts to the Glory of God is something we will never take for granted.

Thank you for inviting us into the beauty that God has gifted you to create!

We’re going to miss these four dearly, but are so proud to send them out to sing peace to a world in need of it!
