Dear Riverview Church & School Family: As many of you now know, our bookkeeper of 16 years, Sandy Diersen, went home to heaven this week.

Sandy was always ready with a warm smile, a friendly conversation, and even a piece of candy for anyone who came into her office.

She devoted so many years and so much joy, passion and love to Riverview, pouring herself into her “second family” - her church family - with a servant’s heart and unwavering dedication to her Savior. Whether in the seen or unseen moments, she lived out her faith in a way that reflected Christ’s love, gently, faithfully, and without seeking recognition.

She has now heard the words we all long for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

As we grieve, we also rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Christ Jesus. Sandy’s faith is now made sight, and she rests in the presence of her Savior. 🤍

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants.” Psalm 116:15

Ages 3 to 10

Get ready for four mornings full of energy, laughter, and adventure. Kids will dive into Bible stories, sing and move to fun music, create crafts, play games, enjoy snacks, and build real friendships along the way.

Every day is designed to help kids grow in their faith, feel welcomed, and have a blast in a safe and encouraging environment.

Free to attend.

🌭 Looking for a quick lunch after church before the Congregational Meeting on Sunday, June 7? Stop by the Youth Group Brat Stand on the church campus! Our youth group is raising funds to attend the Youth Rally in Ohio this summer, and we'd love your support. Come one, come all to Riverview's Vacation Bible School this summer! Check out the details. If you're interested, you can register via the link below!

🐆 When: July 20-23 from 9:00-11:30 am

🐵 Where: Riverview (136 W. Seymour St, Appleton, WI)

🐯 What: VBS is an immersive experience for children ages 3-10 (rising 3K-5th graders). Each day, the children learn a Bible story, sing to music, do a fun craft, have a snack, play games outside, and have a ton of fun meeting old and new friends.

🦎 Why: It's a safe environment for our children to get to know Jesus better and have lots of fun with their peers and leaders.

🐢 Cost: free! Those who register by June 15 also get a free t-shirt!
