First Congregational UCC, Appleton WI We are the Church of the Open Door. Worship Sundays at 9:30am, onsite or online (YouTube/Facebook). All are welcome! Winter hours: closed Dec 24–Jan 4.

Our office is closed on major holidays and follows AASD inclement weather schedule. We are an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ in Appleton, Wisconsin. We're committed to tolerance, justice, service and exploration, not dogma and rules. So no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.

On this Father’s Day we lift up with gratitude all men who have parented with grace and wisdom, strength and care - their own children, and children in their communities. We pray for all for whom this day is complicated by grief, disappointment, or estrangement. May God draw near to the tender-hearted, fathering the fatherless with perfect love.

Our Repair Fair was a resounding success this morning with many, many members, friends, and neighbors bringing items in to be mended, fixed, and tuned up!

Bonus: they were greeted by our brand new church sign, which matches all of our fabulous church t-shirts and hoodies. It’s much easier to read from the street so no one will wonder who inhabits the building on the ravine with the cool bridge.
