On Saturday, October 24, during our Fall Fellowship Day we will be hearing from Deacon Mark Leafgren & Jenifer Jensen as they talk about "The Ordinary Made Extraordinary: Sharing Jesus in Our Daily Lives". This couple has been married for 35 years and are from Oshkosh and belong to St. Raphael the Archangel Parish. Mark serves a deacon and the both volunteer in various ministries sharing Jesus.

The Most Reverend David Laurin Ricken, DD, JCL, Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay, has issued a decree in this Jubilee Year in Commemoration of the 800th Anniversary of the Death of Saint Francis of Assisi (1226-2026). The Jubilee Year, in accordance with the will of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, ends January 10, 2027.

The decree states: To assist the faithful in this holy observance and to encourage renewal, the following sacred place within the Diocese is hereby designated as a pilgrimage site for the duration of this commemorative year:
St. Francis Chapel, Holy Family Convent
Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity
2409 S. Alverno Road, Manitowoc, WI 54220.

The chapel will be open to pilgrims and visitors seven days a week from 12:30pm-4:30pm. Please check in at the front door of the Holy Family Convent, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. At this designated site and any other Franciscan site, the faithful may obtain special graces in the form of a plenary Indulgence under the usual conditions.

Fall Fellowship Day isn't just for Adults. Lisa Preissner will be here telling stories and music with the children as they will explore their self-worth, identity and God's love. Lisa is a Christian Speaker, Worship Leader and a children's Music Teacher. She is the author of the Christian children's book "Who I Am." Lisa was inspired to write this book out of a desire to help children understand their God-given value at an early age. In a world where many young people struggle with insecurity and comparison, the book provides a comforting reminder that every child is deeply loved, uniquely created, and worthy simply because of who God says they are.

Dear Brother Knights of Council 12269,

On behalf of Sacred Heart Parish, we would like extend our deepest gratitude for your help during our Annual Parish Fest on August 15th and 16th.

Are you part of God's Greatest Story? Of course you are. Come and join us as we will hear Father Peter Kafumu speak about how you can be the Gospel Others Will Read. Father Peter Kafumu is a Capuchin Franciscan friar from the Province of Tanzania. After teaching for 3 years and feeling called by God to become a Capuchin, he left his teaching position and joined the order in 2007. He was then ordained a priest in 2018.
