A huge thank you to everyone who helped collect school supplies for our local school. Several large boxes were delivered today to the Freedom Elementary School along with several kind care cards for teachers and staff.

This morning we offered a blessing for our students, teachers and educational staff members for this upcoming school year. Thank you to everyone who helps care for the young lives in our community. Please know that we surround you with our love, prayers, and support.

In addition our congregation wrote some care cards for teachers and leaders in our district to offer our support in a tangible way.
We also spent the month of August collecting some extra supplies for our local school districts. Thank you to everyone who wrote a card and donated items.

What a blessed, beautiful day it was at Freedom Moravian Church today celebrating our 160th anniversary! We started out with a 10:00 a.m. outdoor church service, including the kids breaking open a pinata as part of the children's message, followed by a delicious meal catered by Isaar Inn along with a variety of tasty sides, then followed by a tribute walk honoring past members of our church, in addition to a history lesson of POW camps in Wisconsin and the WWII Donut Dollies, and a special guest speaker, Kurt Boettcher, enlightening us on the various practices of funerals and burial practices and how they have evolved over the years. Thank you to Shari Nachtwey for your vision and for organizing this, Pastor Greg and to everyone who made this such a great day!
