The Navigators and Adventurers just got back from a fun (but wet) Canoe Trip in the UP of Michigan. We tackled about 10 miles down the Menominee River. Set camp up Friday. Lake Lundgren Bible Camp provided the canoes and a guide for our adventure on Saturday. After breakfast we got some safety training and canoe tips, then we set off. For lunch we stopped, and all got to experience MRE's. The reviews were mixed! Then the rain started so we paddled back to camp in the rain. Everyone had a great time! Great conversation, devotions and spending time in nature!

The Woodlands, Navigators and Adventurers had a great campout earlier in August. Its was nice and HOT, but we all had fun. The Navigators worked on their fire ranger and outdoor cooking badges, the cobblers were excellent! The Adventurers built an emergency survival shelter (sorry no pic). We took an all-troop hike, and checked out the lookout tower. Mr. Rex even brought his guitar and we sang some Christian and campfire songs! Great Weekend!
