☕ SATURDAY SIPS | October 24, 2026

“Don’t Let Their Words Change Your Walk!”

Here’s something to sip on this Saturday morning…

Everybody isn’t going to celebrate you. Some will criticize you, misunderstand you, speak against you, and even question your character. But I’ve learned something along this journey: Just because someone has an opinion of you doesn’t mean you have to make it your identity.

Sometimes the greatest test of our spiritual maturity isn’t how we respond to those who love us, but how we respond to those who don’t treat us right.

And here’s the challenging part… God still calls us to LOVE them, PRAY for them, and keep our hearts clean.

Now, don’t misunderstand me. Praying for somebody doesn’t mean you have to give them unlimited access to your life. You can forgive without reconnecting. You can show grace while maintaining boundaries. And you can love people without allowing their negativity to disturb your peace.

Colossians 3:17 reminds us:

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

So today, before you respond, react, retaliate, or rehearse what somebody said about you, ask yourself one question:

“Will my response reflect the God I represent?”

Because sometimes your greatest testimony is not what you SAY in your defense, but what you REFUSE to become because of the offense.

☕ Today’s Sip: You don’t have to match their energy. Maintain your character, protect your peace, and let God handle what you cannot control.

Remember: Don’t allow somebody else’s behavior to make you step outside of who God is developing you to become.

THANKFUL THURSDAY THOUGHT 🙏🏽

Whew! This week has FLOWN by! And if life has taught me anything lately, it’s that sometimes the smallest blessings carry the greatest meaning.

A genuine conversation. A warm embrace. A moment of laughter. A little peace. Simply having someone to share life’s moments with.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s missing that we overlook what’s still present.

The truth is, some of us are navigating seasons we never imagined, carrying emotions we don’t always express, and learning to find joy in unfamiliar places.

But here’s what I’m learning: You can be grateful for what remains while still missing what has changed. BOTH can be true.

Today’s reminder is simple: This too shall pass. Whatever you’re facing is a chapter, not your entire story.

Joshua 1:9 reminds us to be strong and courageous because God is with us wherever we go.

So today, don’t let what you’re going THROUGH blind you to what you still have to be THANKFUL for.

Sometimes the blessing isn’t that everything is perfect. It’s that you’re still here, still growing, and still finding reasons to smile.

WORSHIP WEDNESDAY WORD 🙏🏾
God Is Consistent, Even When Life Isn’t.

Being authentic means acknowledging that every day isn’t a good day.

Some days I’m strong. Some days I’m struggling. Some days I have all the faith in the world, and other days I’m simply asking God to help me make it through.

But here’s what I’m learning in this season: My circumstances may change, my emotions may fluctuate, but God’s faithfulness remains CONSISTENT!

I’ve had some highs, I’ve had some lows, but through it all, God has kept me. And when I look back over my life, my good days STILL outweigh my bad days.

So today, I choose gratitude over complaining, faith over fear, and trusting God over trying to figure everything out.

I may not be where I want to be, but thank God I’m not where I used to be!

“I will go before you and make the crooked places straight.” — Isaiah 45:2

Keep going. God’s not finished! 🙏🏾

TESTIMONY TUESDAY TEACHING 🙏🏽

MAN LOOKS AT THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART!

Something dropped in my spirit this morning as I was meditating…

People will often judge you by what they see, what they’ve heard, or even what they THINK they know about you. But isn’t it comforting to know that God looks beyond all of that?

He sees your heart. He knows your intentions. He knows the battles you’re fighting that nobody else knows about.

And here’s the teaching: Don’t become so consumed with how people SEE you that you neglect who God is DEVELOPING you to be!

Today’s Small Straws reminds us that every day is a clean slate. Yesterday may have been difficult, but today is another opportunity to rise, grow, and get it right.

Your past doesn’t disqualify you, and people’s perception doesn’t determine your purpose!

So ARISE and SHINE! Not because everything is perfect, but because God is still working on the inside of you.

📖 1 Samuel 16:7 | Isaiah 60:1

Remember, God is more concerned with the CONDITION of your heart than the APPEARANCE of your life.

SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL 🌿
Give Yourself Grace, but Don’t Stop Growing

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Here’s something I’ve come to understand: Everybody has an opinion about what you should have done, how you should have handled something, or where you ought to be by now. But very few people know what it took for you just to get to where you are today.

And sometimes, if we’re not careful, we’ll allow the criticism of others to become the voice we use when speaking to ourselves.

But here’s the reminder: You can acknowledge your imperfections without allowing them to define your identity.

Yes, we’ve made mistakes. Yes, there are things we could have handled differently. And yes, there are areas where we still need to grow.

But growth requires grace, too!

I’ve learned that every season doesn’t find us at our strongest emotionally, mentally, or even spiritually. Some days we’re operating at full capacity, and other days we’re simply doing the best we can with what we have left.

And guess what? God is present in BOTH seasons!

Psalm 46:1 doesn’t say God is only our refuge when we get everything right. It reminds us that He is our refuge, our strength, and a VERY PRESENT help in trouble.

So take the correction that will make you better, release the criticism that serves no purpose, forgive yourself for what you didn’t know, and keep moving forward with what you know now.

Don’t let one imperfect moment convince you that your entire journey has been a failure.

As we begin another week, remember this:

You don’t have to be perfect to make progress. You don’t have to have everything figured out to take another step. And you certainly don’t have to carry yesterday’s criticism into today’s blessings.

Give yourself grace, but don’t stop growing. God is still working on you, in you, and through you!

☀️ FRET NOT FRIDAY | STILL COVERED, STILL GRATEFUL! ❤️

Good evening, everybody!

Whew! This week has been FULL! I haven’t shared a devotional since Tuesday, but something crossed my spirit this morning…

I’ve been so busy talking to God about everybody else that I haven’t always taken the time to talk to Him about ME. Yet, He’s STILL been moving mountains out of my way!

Now, THAT will humble you! 🙌🏽

Life has a way of keeping us occupied, distracted, and sometimes downright exhausted. But here’s what I’m learning: Just because I’ve been quiet doesn’t mean God has stopped working!

And while everything hasn’t gone the way I planned, when I look back over my life, ALL of my good days outweigh my bad days… and I WON’T complain!

So on this Fret Not Friday, don’t allow people, pressure, or life’s uncertainties to pull you off course. Stand your ground, trust His timing, and keep moving forward.

📖 Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He shall direct your paths.

Here’s your Friday reminder: You may have been too busy to notice God moving, but He’s NEVER been too busy to notice YOU!

Forever humbled. Forever grateful. Still trusting! ❤️

☀️ MONDAY MORNING MANNA
Count Your Blessings, Not Just Your Battles!

Good morning!

Sometimes life has a way of making us focus so much on what’s going wrong that we overlook everything God is STILL doing right!

I’ve come to understand that being grateful doesn’t mean I’m not tired, disappointed, or even discouraged. It simply means I refuse to let what I’m going THROUGH overshadow what God has already brought me THROUGH!

Some doors didn’t open. Some plans didn’t work. Some prayers haven’t been answered the way we expected. But we’re STILL here!

And if God has kept us this far, surely He hasn’t brought us this far to abandon us now!

Deuteronomy 31:8 reminds us that God goes BEFORE us, walks WITH us, and will NEVER leave nor forsake us.

So today, instead of rehearsing everything that’s wrong, take a moment to remember what’s RIGHT.

You may not have everything you WANT, but don’t overlook what you HAVE!

Your circumstances may have changed, but God’s faithfulness has NOT!

Take a breath. Count your blessings. Protect your peace.

And remember, just because life isn’t going according to YOUR plan doesn’t mean God has abandoned HIS purpose!

☀️ SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL

“KNOW WHEN TO MOVE!”

Sunday, October 11, 2026
Scripture: James 1:5–6

Have you ever found yourself in a place, a situation, or even a relationship where everything around you suggested it was time to move, but something within you kept holding on?

Sometimes we stay because it’s familiar. Sometimes because of the time we’ve invested. And sometimes, if we’re truthful, we’re simply afraid of what comes next.

But here’s something I’m learning in this season of my life: Just because something was once good for you doesn’t mean it’s still where God wants you.

Now, don’t misunderstand me. Every uncomfortable situation isn’t an indication that it’s time to leave. Sometimes God is stretching us, developing our character, and teaching us how to remain faithful when things aren’t favorable.

That’s why DISCERNMENT is so important!

James 1:6 reminds us to ask in faith without wavering. But don’t overlook verse 5, where we’re encouraged to ask God for wisdom!

See, faith doesn’t mean we have every answer. Faith means we trust God enough to follow His instructions, even when we don’t understand the entire process.

And I’ve discovered that sometimes the greatest act of obedience isn’t walking away. It’s knowing when to stand still, when to wait, and when to MOVE!

Don’t allow loneliness to make you stay where you don’t belong. Don’t allow frustration to make you abandon something God is still developing. And certainly don’t allow fear to keep you from walking into what God has prepared.

As we enter another week, my prayer is simple:

Lord, don’t just open doors for me. Give me the wisdom to recognize which doors are mine to walk through. Give me the courage to leave what is no longer assigned to me and the patience to remain where You’re still working on me.

Because at the end of the day, I’d rather be uncomfortable in God’s will than comfortable outside of it.

Here’s your Sunday reminder:

Everything familiar isn’t necessarily favorable, and everything uncomfortable isn’t necessarily unfavorable.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. TRUST HIS LEADING. AND WHEN GOD SAYS MOVE… MOVE!

☀️ THANKFUL THURSDAY THOUGHT!

Sometimes it’s not that we’ve lost our faith or our way… we’re simply TIRED!

Life has a way of keeping us so busy that we forget our souls need attention, too.

But here’s something to be thankful for: God never intended for us to run on empty!

Today, give yourself permission to REST, RESET, and RECONNECT with Him. There’s a time to press forward and a time to simply be still.

Remember, being tired doesn’t mean you’re defeated, and resting doesn’t mean you’ve given up!

📖 Galatians 6:9 — “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Rest your soul. Renew your faith. Your harvest is still ahead! 🙏🏽💙

WORSHIP WEDNESDAY WORD 🙌🏾

Sometimes worship is simply refusing to let a hard moment convince you that you’ve been abandoned.

Life can get quiet. People can change. Plans can fall apart. But none of that changes how deeply you are loved or how closely God is still walking with you.

Today, don’t let what you feel make you forget what you know:
You are loved. You are covered. And you are never alone.

Even in the silence… He’s still there. 🙏🏾
