🌿 DAILY DEVOTION | JUNE 24, 2026 🌿

“Sometimes strength isn’t found in pushing harder. Sometimes it’s found in finally leaning on God.”

Today’s Small Straws reminded me that there are seasons when life simply feels heavy. The responsibilities, the decisions, the disappointments, the uncertainty, and even the healing can feel like more than we can carry on our own.

The good news is God never asked us to carry it alone.

When we run out of strength, His strength begins. When we don’t know what to do next, His presence becomes our guide. When the road ahead seems overwhelming, He walks every step with us.

This morning, I am reminded that I don’t have to have all the answers. I don’t have to figure out the entire journey today. I simply have to trust the One who has already gone before me.

No matter what you’re facing today, don’t quit. Don’t give up. Don’t surrender to fear. Lean on the Lord and allow His strength to become your strength.

📖 Ephesians 6:10
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

💨 SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND – Marsha Burns

“When life seems to be too much to deal with and you are not up for the task, lean on Me to give you the strength and vitality that it takes to overcome. Never forget that I am for you and will be with you every step of the way, says the Lord.”

🌅 Morning Manna | June 23, 2026

There are days when the weight of life, disappointment, grief, uncertainty, and even the negativity around us can tempt us to dim our light. But God never called us to blend into darkness—He called us to shine in it.

Today’s Small Straws reminds us that our assignment has not changed. We are still called to encourage, uplift, serve, love, and represent Christ wherever we go. The enemy would love for us to become distracted, discouraged, or disconnected from purpose. Yet God says, “Get up and get going.”

Somebody needs your smile.
Somebody needs your testimony.
Somebody needs your encouragement.
Somebody needs the fragrance of Christ that you carry.

No matter what yesterday looked like, God is still leading us in triumph. Not sometimes. Not occasionally. Always.

So today, refuse to let darkness dictate your disposition. Let your light shine. Be about your Father’s business. Encourage someone. Bless someone. Pray for someone. You never know how God will use your obedience to change a life.

📖 Small Straws In A Soft Wind – Marsha Burns
“Let your light in the Spirit shine bright. Refuse to allow the darkness all around you to dampen your enthusiasm to be about your Father’s business. Get up and get going. You have much to be thankful for and much that you can do to encourage others, says the Lord.”

📖 Scripture
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”
— 2 Corinthians 2:14

Prayer:
Lord, help me to shine brightly in a world that often feels dark. Let my words, actions, and attitude reflect You. Use me today to encourage someone and remind me that victory is already found in Christ. Amen.

✨ Today’s Challenge: Before this day ends, intentionally encourage at least one person. A call, text, prayer, compliment, or simple check-in may be exactly what they need.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND – Marsha Burns

“Take time to relax and enjoy the best parts of every day. Yes, you will face challenges and have to deal with unwelcome circumstances, but I have given you the knowledge and the power to overcome. Rise up in the strength of My presence, says the Lord.”

📖 1 John 5:4
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

Reflection:

Far too often we become so focused on the problems in front of us that we overlook the blessings all around us. The Lord reminds us today that while challenges are inevitable, defeat is optional. As believers, we have already been equipped with the wisdom, strength, and faith necessary to overcome whatever stands before us.

Take a moment today to breathe. Enjoy the laughter of loved ones, the beauty of God’s creation, the opportunities He places before you, and the peace that comes from knowing He is in control. The battle may be real, but so is the victory.

Don’t allow today’s struggles to rob you of today’s joy. Stand tall. Walk confidently. Trust completely. The same God who brought you through yesterday is already standing in your tomorrow.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for reminding us that our faith is greater than our fears and our victory is greater than our challenges. Help us to slow down and appreciate the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. Strengthen us to rise above every obstacle and walk in confidence, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

✨ Today’s Takeaway:
Don’t just survive today—enjoy it. You were born to overcome, and your faith is proof that victory is already within reach.

☀️ MORNING MANNA – June 20, 2026

Scripture Focus:
“In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.” — Isaiah 54:14

Daily Reflection

One of the greatest tests of spiritual maturity is how we respond when others choose dishonesty, manipulation, or deception. The world is full of people who will cut corners, bend the truth, and operate without integrity. It can be frustrating, especially when you’re doing your best to walk upright before God.

But today’s word reminds us that our response matters.

God never called us to fight darkness with darkness. He never instructed us to answer dishonesty with dishonesty or deception with deception. Instead, He calls us to remain established in righteousness.

When others operate from chaos, we must operate from peace.

When others choose manipulation, we must choose integrity.

When others attempt to provoke fear, frustration, or retaliation, we must remember who we belong to.

Your character is worth more than winning an argument. Your peace is worth more than proving a point. Your integrity is worth more than temporary satisfaction.

Today, refuse to become part of the problem. Stay grounded. Stay prayerful. Stay honest. Stay righteous.

God sees every situation clearly, and He is fully capable of defending those who trust Him.

Prayer

Father, help me to walk in integrity even when others do not. Guard my heart from bitterness, frustration, and retaliation. Establish me in righteousness and let Your peace govern my thoughts and actions. Help me to trust that You are my defender and that I do not have to compromise my character to overcome life’s challenges. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Reminder:
Don’t allow someone else’s lack of integrity to pull you out of yours. Stay established in righteousness and let God handle the rest.

Protect your peace and preserve your integrity.

🌾 DAILY DEVOTIONAL | SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND 🌾

Scripture:
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” — Psalm 55:22

Today’s Small Straws is a reminder that not everything has to be done at once.

Many of us are carrying full calendars, unanswered questions, financial pressures, family responsibilities, ministry obligations, and personal battles that no one else knows about. It’s easy to become overwhelmed when we focus on everything at the same time.

But God is saying, “Slow down. Take one step at a time. One task at a time. Trust Me with the rest.”

You don’t need all the answers today. You don’t need to solve every problem before the sun goes down. You simply need to be faithful with what’s in front of you and trust God to guide your next step.

When the burden feels heavy, don’t carry it alone. Cast it on the Lord. He has promised to sustain you.

🙏🏾 Prayer:
Father, help us not to be overwhelmed by the weight of our responsibilities. Give us wisdom, peace, and direction for this day. Teach us to trust You with what we cannot control and to faithfully steward what You’ve placed before us. Strengthen us for the journey and remind us that You are our source, our sustainer, and our guide. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

✨ Today’s Challenge:
Don’t focus on the entire list. Focus on the next assignment. Do it well, give God the glory, and move to the next one.

One step. One prayer. One day at a time. God will sustain you.

🌅 Daily Devotion | June 18, 2026

Scripture Focus:
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18

Small Straws In A Soft Wind – Marsha Burns

“Wake up to what is going on around you and evaluate how you are being changed by it. It is vital to keep your relationship with Me as being primary because it is so easy to be distracted. Your spiritual vitality will produce a true outcome. Be strong and of good courage and refuse to be molded by any other image but Mine, says the Lord.”

Reflection:

Everything around us is shaping us. The conversations we entertain, the environments we remain in, the content we consume, and the people we allow closest to us all have the potential to influence who we are becoming.

Today’s challenge is simple: Who or what is shaping you?

The Lord reminds us that our primary focus must remain on Him. In a world full of distractions, opinions, disappointments, temptations, and noise, it is easy to slowly drift away from the image God intended for us. Yet when we consistently seek His presence, His Word, and His will, we are transformed from the inside out.

Growth in Christ is not instant—it is a continual process of becoming. Glory to glory. Faith to faith. Day by day.

Don’t allow pain, pressure, people, or past mistakes to define your identity. Refuse to be molded by circumstances. Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to shape you into the image of Christ.

Today, take inventory of what has your attention and ask yourself: Is this drawing me closer to God or further away from Him?

Prayer:

Father, help me remain focused on You above all else. Open my eyes to the influences around me and give me wisdom to recognize what is shaping my heart. Transform me into Your image and let my life reflect Your character, Your love, and Your purpose. Keep me strong, courageous, and spiritually alert. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND
by Marsha Burns

“This is a time for change. Evaluate where you are and where you want to be, and I will show you the way. When you feel like an outcast, know that you are precious to Me, and I will make a way where there seems to be no way. Be sensitive to My leading, says the Lord.”

📖 Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.”

Today’s Reflection

Change can be uncomfortable because it often requires us to release what is familiar before we can embrace what is next. Yet God reminds us today that this season is not meant to break us—it is designed to position us.

Take inventory of where you are spiritually, emotionally, financially, and relationally. Not with condemnation, but with honesty. Ask yourself: Am I where God is calling me to be? If not, don’t become discouraged. The same God who revealed the destination has already prepared the path.

There may be moments when you feel overlooked, misunderstood, abandoned, or even forgotten. But Heaven’s perspective is different. You are not an outcast—you are chosen. You are not forsaken—you are loved. You are not without direction—God is leading.

For some of us, the road ahead may seem unclear. Doors have closed. Relationships have shifted. Plans have changed. Yet today’s word reminds us that God specializes in making a way where there appears to be none.

Stay sensitive to His voice. Trust His timing. Follow His leading.

The change you’re experiencing may very well be the answer you’ve been praying for.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for being near to me in every season. Give me the wisdom to evaluate where I am and the courage to follow where You lead. Help me not to be discouraged by change, but to embrace it as part of Your divine plan. Remind me that I am precious in Your sight and that You are making a way even when I cannot see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
