Today, we celebrate Ryan and Emma! Ryan has served as our Associate Pastor for the last year and a half, and we are beyond grateful for the ways they have served our community. Today is their last Sunday with us here at Compassion.

Between leading Compassion Kids, faithfully teaching God’s Word, organizing service projects, working at the coffeehouse, capturing photos, posting on social media, and everything else…we have been deeply impacted by them.

Please join us in prayer for them as they transition to a new ministry!

📣 We're Hiring! Community Pastor — Compassion Church (Anoka, MN)

Compassion Church is a non-traditional, missional church with a heart to make Jesus visible by showing compassion to those in need — especially our neighbors affected by homelessness. We started as a small group in 2021 and now gather for worship each Sunday at our coffeehouse (Compassion Coffee).

As we prepare for multiplication, we’re excited to hire a part-time Community Pastor — someone with a shepherd’s heart who loves Jesus and people, and is passionate about pastoral care, community engagement, and helping others take next steps in their faith. This role will focus on leading the congregation in Anoka while partnering with our Lead Pastor in shared teaching, discipleship, leadership development, and church-planting strategies.

✨ What we’re looking for:
• A relational, proactive leader with humility and compassion
• Passion for community transformation and gospel expression
• Someone who can teach, shepherd, and equip leaders
• Love for our coffeehouse ministry and engaging the neighborhood
