AAOG Church

AAOG Church Our mission is to lead people into an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our desire is to bring people into the church in creative ways that relate to real life and culture. It is also important that we work hard to provide an exciting and God-honoring environment to help our congregation reach upward. We desire to prepare all for growth toward becoming a full-court follower of Christ through discipleship by reaching in. Our main goal is to stop being spectators and get into the game of active service.

Sunday we launched a new sermon series called "Shipshape" where we're learning about how God gifts His church for the mission. Discover your gift mix and where your gift goes at Angola Assembly of God.

Check out this week's sermon recap blog at https://www.shaunhardie.com/post/the-gift-in-you-has-somewhere-to-go

This Sunday, our series continues with "Beyond the Shoreline" where we'll be talking about the importance of Outreach and how our gifts operate together to accomplish the mission.

Have you ever had a clear vision of where you wanted to go… but kept ending up off course? ⛳️

In Pastor Shaun’s latest blog post, he shares a lesson learned on the golf course: "Nobody lines up his own feet."

You can have the right target and the best intentions, but without people behind you to help check your alignment, it’s easy to drift. Isaiah 30:21 reminds us: “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it...’”

We don’t just need people to agree with our goals—we need trusted people in our lives who have permission to say, "A little to the right" or "A little to the left."

Last Sunday’s message, “Still Standing,” reminded us that faithfulness under pressure is usually built long before the pressure arrives.

Daniel didn’t begin praying when prayer was outlawed. He practiced on ordinary days until prayer became a pillar that held him steady in a crisis.

Godly wisdom and faithful practice builds a life that is still standing.

What faithful practice is God inviting you to begin today?

“I’m not good at that.”Most of us have said. After all, we cannot all be good at everything. Journaling... I'm not good at that. Memorizing scripture... I'm not good at that. Praying... I'm not good at that. Insert "fruit of the Spirit"... I'm not good at that.Sometimes a limitation is real. B...
