Meet our Staff!
These are the people doing the everyday, behind-the-scenes work at Turning Point.

From left to right:
We’ve got Samantha Fergison, our Community Relations Coordinator, the one keeping us all connected and making sure people know we exist.

Then Tim Scheiber, Case Manager and Advocate, Tim brings the steadiness that we all need.

Then me, Heather Booher, Executive Director… I just keep things moving and try not to mess it all up.

Next is Mary Suffel, Case Manager and Advocate. Mary is the perfect mix of compassion, accountability, and fun, which is a rare and beautiful thing.

And then Tina Hufnagle, our Office Manager, the one who actually keeps this place running because she knows where everything is and how it all works.

This team… they care deeply, they show up, and they are the reason real life change happens here. I am really, really thankful for each one of them.

A small step forward still counts. A prayer whispered still counts. One brave conversation still counts. One application, one walk, one healthy choice, one moment of courage, it all matters.

Today’s reminder:
Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Do what you can.

Our brains naturally drift towards fear and negativity, but hope is something we can train. It takes intentionality, repetition, and the willingness to replace old patterns with new healthy ones. At turning point, we are a place of hope, and we’re putting in the work. Every morning in 2026 we’re committing to a positive soundtrack, choosing thoughts that build resilience, confidence and forward momentum. As says “ Fear comes free Hope takes work.”

And that work is worth it!

This weekend, we had the joy of witnessing three baptisms at Turning Point! What an incredible reminder of God’s grace, redemption, and the power of a fresh start.

Each story is unique, but they all point to the same truth: Jesus transforms lives. We’re praising God for the work He’s doing here and cheering on these brave individuals as they walk in newness of life!

Please keep them in your prayers as they continue their journey of healing, restoration, and hope. 💜🖤
