As a congregation, we were blessed to hear JeanJean & Kristie boast about what the Lord is doing in Haiti now and over the past 30 years through UCI: Haiti. They reminded us that we are all missionaries if we are Christians. It is a privilege to share the good news of Christ. John 20:21 says, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” The words to our final hymn today are hopefully true for you now and always, “With every breath, I long to follow Jesus. To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus. All the glory evermore to Him. When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat “Yet not I, but through Christ in me.” 🎶📖

Pastor Scott has taken us through the life of Christ using WATER in the Gospels to teach, prepare, and empower His disciples to live for Him. The Lord is calling us to put that same faith and trust in him as His disciples did. He wants us to DRINK from the living water, so we will no longer thirst. Pray for the power of Christ to be in our lives. When we choose to follow his guidance, His grace and love not only satisfy you but can overflow to refresh those around you. Christ provides us with direction, confidence, and obedience to be filled with a passion to share about Him. 💧💧💧🙏🙏📖📖

To truly celebrate our independence and freedom this Independence Day, we must first acknowledge our dependence. We are blessed in this country by the strength of our military, and at the same time, may we acknowledge every aspect of life depends on God’s amazing grace displayed to us. Be safe as you celebrate this weekend, and may we NEVER forget all those who have sacrificed their time and lives for our freedoms. 🇺🇸🥾🪖

During Today's Worship Service, we sang the song "Send Me." We can serve him regardless of our situation in life, whether things are good or bad. Our service may seem small to us, but mighty to Him. Challenge yourself to pray to Him every day, "Lord, send me, use me for Your glory in my daily words and actions." 🙏🏻🙏🏻📖🎶
