This coming Sunday morning, Pastor John continues a series of messages from Book II of the Psalms. He’ll consider a message from Psalm 45 entitled The King and His Bride. That evening, Pastor John turns to the Heidelberg Catechism Lord’s Day #11 (Q&A29-30) and Acts 4:8-12 for a message entitled God’s Son Our Savior; Jesus Saves. This coming Sunday morning, Pastor John begins a series of messages from the Psalms. Last summer, he focused on book #1 of the Psalms and the theme of “the prince anointed but facing opposition”. We saw this in Psalms 1,2,4,8,13,15,16,31,32,34,37, and 40. Today, Pastor John kicks off Book II of the Psalms with a message from Psalm 42-43 entitled (P)Reaching Hope in Times of Oppression. That evening, Pastor John turns to the Heidelberg Catechism Lord’s Day #10 (Q&A27-28) and Acts 17:16-32 for a message entitled All Things from My Father’s Hand.

This coming Sunday morning, Calvary CRC will worship with the other Orange City churches at 11:00AM in Windmill Park. Pastor Si Cochren from Cornerstone Baptist will be preaching, and the worship will be led by the American Reformed Church. Please take your own lawn chairs or blankets. That evening, the annual GEMS service will be held at the GEMS hosting church, Immanuel CRC. Calvary is invited to this service and will NOT host an ordinary evening service.
