Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it is a sacred reminder of sacrifice, courage, and love for others.

At RIO Unity Church, we are grateful for every service member and every family who has carried the weight of that sacrifice. We pray for comfort for those who mourn, peace for our nation, and gratitude in our hearts that we never take freedom for granted.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to reflect, remember, and thank God for the heroes who gave everything.

This Sunday at RIO Unity is going to be a special one… and somehow God lined it up with TWO Tommy Roberts! 😄

Sunday Morning, we are honored to welcome Pastor Tommy Roberts, Senior Pastor of LifePointe Christian Faith Center in Coralville IA, as he brings the Word during our morning service. Come expecting a powerful message and a fresh move of God!

Sunday, May 10th, we want to take a moment at RIO Unity Church to honor and celebrate all the amazing mothers in our lives. 💐

Mothers carry such a beautiful reflection of the heart of Jesus, nurturing, comforting, sacrificial, compassionate, and full of unwavering love. So many of us have experienced the love of God through the gentle prayers, strength, encouragement, and faithfulness of a mother or mother figure.

Sunday we say THANK YOU for every late night, every prayer whispered over your family, every sacrifice made, and every ounce of love poured out. You are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

This Sunday will also be a special family service together, and in honor of Mother’s Day we will not be having Kids Class. We encourage families to sit together and celebrate MOM! ❤️

Come worship with us as we honor the incredible women who help shape generations with the love of Christ. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Tonight at 6:30PM we gather for Prayer Night at RIO Unity!

Prayer is more than words… prayer means relationship. Tonight is about coming together for a one-on-one encounter with the Lord, seeking His heart, sitting in His presence, and giving Him the honor He deserves.

We are going to worship the King of Kings. We are going to proclaim who the Lord is! He is Holy. He is Worthy. He deserves all praise, all glory, and all honor!

Come hungry for His presence. Come ready to worship. Come ready to encounter Jesus. 🙌🔥

🔥 THIS SUNDAY NIGHT at RIO Unity Church 🔥
📅 May 3rd | 6:30PM

We are honored to welcome Charles “Chuck” Porta to RIO Unity!

Chuck carries a deep well of wisdom, revelation, and prophetic insight in such a genuine, down-to-earth, and relatable way. He is known for teaching on the life of Paul, John the Beloved, and the heart of Davidic worship with incredible depth while making it practical and life-giving for everyday believers.

More than anything, Chuck is a man who believes in raising up the next generation. He has a heart for young adults and sees them as a major part of God’s future in this hour. He pours his life into mentoring, equipping, and awakening people to intimacy with Jesus and boldness in their calling.

This will not just be another service. We believe it will be a night of prophetic encouragement, powerful worship, fresh vision, and encounter with the presence of God.

Come hungry. Bring somebody with you.
The atmosphere is going to be full of expectation as we pursue the heart of God together.
