Labor Day Weekend Schedule

There will be no Sunday School or Youth Sunday Night on September 6. With many volunteers out of town for Labor Day weekend, we’re giving our dedicated team the Sunday off. We’re grateful for all they do and hope everyone enjoys a restful holiday weekend!

🧱 UNSHAKEN: Built to Last 🧱

We wrapped up our UNSHAKEN series Sunday night by talking about what it means to be built to last!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve challenged our youth with three big questions:

🙋 Who am I?
🤝 Who’s with me?
🏠 What am I building on?

This week, we talked about how storms are going to come, hard days, pressure, changes, doubts, and challenges, but what we build our lives on makes all the difference. When our foundation is Jesus, we can stand firm even when everything around us feels shaky. ❤️

📖 “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24

Such a great way to wrap up this series! We love Sunday nights with our youth good food, lots of laughs, worship, and time spent growing together. 🙌 Thanks Mrs. Leslie for leading and Noah for doing music and all the small group leaders!

🎉 YOUTH SUNDAY NIGHTS ARE BACK! 🎉

A few pics from our first Sunday night back last week! We had some yummy Mexican food, they somehow talked me into a game of tortilla slap, spent time in praise & worship , and talked about an important truth:

Such a fun night of food, laughter, worship, and growing together!

What a night! 🤪🎉😴

A HUGE thank you to Pleasant Hill UMC for hosting another awesome Youth Lock-In! Our youth had a blast staying up WAY too late, playing games, eating plenty of snacks, laughing, hanging out, and making some pretty great memories along the way.

We are so thankful for our friends at Pleasant Hill, Jacob, Harrison and all of the amazing volunteers who gave up a night of sleep to make this happen for our youth!

Thanks for another GREAT lock-in, Pleasant Hill! We love getting to do ministry together!

BACK TO SCHOOL POOL PARTY!

We had the BEST time this past Sunday celebrating the end of summer and the start of a brand-new school year with our youth!

There was plenty of swimming, food, laughter, and just getting to hang out together before everyone headed back to school. We also FINALLY revealed our TRIBES winners after a summer full of competition!

We are so thankful for this group of students and excited for everything God has in store for them this school year.

And now that school is back… YOUTH SUNDAY NIGHTS ARE BACK TOO! Join us this Sunday from 5–7 PM for dinner, games, worship, a lesson, and small groups. Bring a friend, we’d love to have you!

Join us on Sunday, August 9, as we celebrate Promotion Sunday and pray over our students as they begin a new school year!

Children and youth are encouraged to bring their backpacks to worship for our Blessing of the Backpacks. During the service, we'll pray for all of our students, teachers, school staff, and families as the new school year begins. Each student and educator will also receive a small gift to attach to their backpack as a reminder that their church family loves them, is praying for them, and is cheering them on all year long.

What a way to wrap up an awesome summer of TRIBES! ☀️💦

We had an absolute BLAST at our end-of-summer party! From racing down the world’s longest slip ’n slide (with maybe a few battle wounds 😅) to dancing and playing in the foam, it was the perfect night to celebrate an incredible summer together. Thank you to all the AMAZING volunteers who showed up every week! Couldn’t have don’t it with yall!

A huge THANK YOU to All About Fun Inflatables for an amazing foam party! It was a huge hit!

Now for the big question… 👀 Who won TRIBES this summer? 🤔

You’ll have to join us at our Pool Party on August 9 to find out! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and finally crown this year’s champions! 🏆🎉

What a great night at TRIBES! 🥏💙

We wrapped up our final competition by playing Ultimate Frisbee and spent time talking about Isaiah 6:8:
“Here I am. Send me!”

We challenged our students to think about what it means to be willing to go wherever God calls us and serve others with open hearts.

🏆 Who will be crowned this year’s TRIBES Champion? You’ll have to join us this Sunday, July 26 to find out! We’ll announce our overall TRIBES winners and hand out prizes at our end-of-year party.

What a great night at TRIBES!

We had a blast playing kickball, cheering each other on, and making some great memories together. After the games, we spent some time talking about an important question: What kind of friend are you? We challenged each other to be the kind of friend who encourages, includes, loves, and points others to Jesus.

We can’t wait to do it all again!
