Yesterday, we welcomed Dr. Hun Lye for another meaningful ICB Connect session on “Settling the Body, Safeguarding the Heart.”

Through his sharing, Dr. Lye invited participants to reflect on the relationship between body, mind and practice, and how we can cultivate greater awareness and steadiness in our everyday lives.

A look back at Part I of “Understanding the Yogacara Fire Mouth Ceremony in Chinese Buddhism” with Dr. Hun Lye, held on 22-23 August 2026. 🙏

Over the weekend, Dr. Lye guided participants through the foundations and development of the Flaming-Mouth Ceremony (Yankou 焰口), exploring its early scriptural sources, ritual structure, historical development and transformation within Chinese Buddhist tradition.
