The beautiful du’a that makes hearts weep. 💔

We’ve all heard of the heartbreaking story of the Year of Sorrow.
The year where our beloved ﷺ had lost his anchors, Sayyidatina Khadija (RA) and his uncle.
The year where he went to Ta’if, only to be humiliated, mocked and hurt until his sandals squelched with blood.

He was at his lowest low, so his only thread of hope was to extend his hands up in the sky in complete surrender. Then, he uttered the most beautiful and gut wrenching words to the Lord of the Worlds.

His mercy outweighed everything he deserved to feel.
His compassion did not cease even when he had nothing left to hope for, except the Divine.

Salallahu alaihi salam, this is he, the Prophet ﷺ who is loved, and will be loved by many.

Singapore is finally getting its own Islamic college! 🕌

For generations, aspiring religious scholars had to travel overseas to pursue their studies. When they returned, adapting that classical learning to Singapore's modern, multi-faith context wasn't always easy.

The Singapore College of Islamic Studies (SCIS) changes that. Opening its doors in 2028, it's designed to produce leaders who are learned in text and literate in context, grounded in Islamic scholarship, and fluent in the realities of the society they serve.

Think theology alongside social work. Jurisprudence alongside mental health. A campus in the heart of Rochor, steps from Sultan Mosque and the Malay Heritage Centre.
