“不是要受人的服事，乃是要? As such, at Calvary, we strive to live the new life by serving God and one another.

We are a church with people from diverse background drawn together by the love of God and by the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thus you will find that at Calvary, our mission is to glorify God, and our message is Christ crucified; our mandate is to proclaim the Gospel, which is "the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" (Romans 1:16).
是上帝的爱和耶稣基督的恩典把我们从各个不同的人生岗位聚集在一起，为的是

要荣耀主。我们的使命是传扬主的福音，因为 “这福音是上帝的大能，要救一切相信的”（罗马书 1：16）。

At Calvary, we strive to teach the Word of God so that together, we may "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).
在加略堂，我们教导上帝的话语，为的是让众圣徒 “在我们主-救主耶稣基督的恩典和知识上有长进”（彼得后书 3：18）。

Calvary's motto is taken from Mark 10:45 - "Not to be ministered unto, but to minister." And we certainly pray that your visit, be it through this website or by your physical presence with us, will be a spiritually enriching experience.
加略堂的建堂宗旨取自马可福音10：45 - “不是要受人服事，乃是要服事人”。所以，我们竭力藉着事奉上帝和彼此服事来活出基督里的新生命，也祷告你的造访（不管是藉着这个网页或是亲自的来到）将是一个能在属灵上的美好体验。

The Lord is with thee, therefore fear not. Peace be unto thee, go in this thy might.

Abide in Christ, and we need not be ruled by fear. Because Christ gives us His peace, our hearts need not be overcome by the troubles of this world. Because Christ strengthens us, we may go forward in obedience to His Word.

While God has called us to His service and ministry, we know that it is not without internal struggles and external threats. May our eyes not be clouded simply by our own personal gain or loss in this ministry. Remember that since we are doing things for God and we have done our best, it is to God’s glory alone that anything is achieved. Even if things do not go our way, remember that it is in God’s timing and plan, and He will surely see us through. May this be our daily encouragement to persevere in Christ!
