✨💛 Mark records the quiet yet powerful faith of those who stayed near Jesus after His death. While many had fled, the women continued to watch, and Joseph of Arimathea boldly stepped forward to care for Jesus’ body. He gave Jesus an honorable burial, placing Him in a tomb and sealing it with a stone. What appeared to be the end was actually the beginning of God’s greatest triumph, as hope rested behind the stone awaiting resurrection morning.

🙏 Lord, thank You for teaching me that faithfulness is often shown in simple acts of love, courage, and devotion. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see what You are doing, knowing that Your promises never fail. Amen.

✨💛 The cross reveals both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God’s love. Though Jesus is mocked, abandoned, and surrounded by suffering, He remains obedient to the very end. As darkness covers the land and Jesus offers His life as the perfect sacrifice, the barrier between God and humanity is removed. What looked like defeat becomes the moment of victory, as the Son of God gives Himself to save the world.

🙏 Lord, thank You for enduring the cross for me. Teach me to trust in Your finished work, to stand in awe of Your sacrifice, and to live each day in the hope and grace You have given. Amen.

✨💛 Jesus stands before Pilate, falsely accused yet completely silent, carrying the weight of humanity’s sin without defending Himself. Though innocent, He is mocked, beaten, and handed over to be crucified while the crowd chooses Barabbas instead. The soldiers place a crown of thorns on His head and ridicule Him as “King of the Jews,” not realizing that the true King was willingly enduring suffering to save them.

🙏 Lord, thank You for enduring rejection, shame, and suffering for my sake. Help me to recognize You as my true King and to follow You with humility and surrender, even when it is difficult. Amen.
