Sometimes we see a contradiction when a person is evil in the sight of the LORD but somehow he is blessed with success and riches. In contrary, a pious man is somehow afflicted with pain and suffering? How do we reconcile this? What does that mean to our life of obedience?

Often times, we remember more about the gifts of the worldโ€ฆ yet as we commemorated Good Friday, we are reminded once again that the greatest gift ever is actually the cross. It draws you to remember again, that it transcends millenia, it breaks the space, it shatters through knowledge have ever known.

Itโ€™s more than salvation. Itโ€™s more than forgiveness. Itโ€™s more than sacrifice. It is an ongoing invitation to a reality weโ€™ve barely begun to understand.

The cross did more than we expect, read these precious passages and reflect about the oxymoron of suffering and glory of the cross.
