As we conclude our Red Shield Event 2026, held on 24 July 2026 at Capella Singapore, we are deeply grateful and humbled by the overwhelming support shown for our programmes and beneficiaries across our social services. Your generosity enables us to continue uplifting lives through eldercare, children and youth development, migrant worker outreach, prison support services, and many other initiatives that bring hope to those in need.
To date, we have raised over S$1.4 million to power this critical work, ensuring that we can continue serving the vulnerable regardless of age, race, or religion. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the steadfast support of our donors, partners, volunteers, and the wider community, whose compassion continues to transform lives.
We were honoured to have Jasmin Lau, Acting Minister for Manpower and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information, grace the occasion as our Guest of Honour. In her address, she shared how digital knowledge and tools can serve as a vital lifeline - bridging gaps, fostering inclusion, and empowering isolated and vulnerable members of our community to remain connected and supported.
As we move forward, The Salvation Army remains committed to the spirit of this year's theme, "United for Generations." Together, we will continue bringing people of all ages together in a shared call to kindness, compassion, and service, creating stronger communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
