JULY RECAP: HEAT CHECK. 🔥🏃‍♂️
July was a heavy one at Runners Fellowship, but we showed up and faced the fire together.

When the heat gets turned up—in a race, in our training, or in life—our natural response is to pull back. But trials aren’t meant to break us; they’re meant to build us. We talked about what it looks like to claim a WIN even in the middle of a hard season, and how God’s heart isn’t for us to grind through the pain alone.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” — James 1:2-3

Counting it all joy doesn’t mean pretending it’s easy. It means knowing that the struggle is producing something lasting in us. And the best part? We don’t run the hard miles solo. We pray together, carry the weight together, and cross the line together.
Thankful for this community that turns every test into a testimony. Onward to August! 🙌👟

🇸🇬 40 Days. 40 Runs. 40 Prayers. ONE United Body. 🏃‍♂️🙏

This year’s 40-Day prayer theme is TOGETHER. Because indeed—together we are stronger, together we run, and together we pray!

From 1 July to 9 August (National Day), riding on the daily prayer themes, we are calling all Christian runners and walkers across Singapore to intercede for our nation while keeping our bodies moving. Let’s take up the challenge and commit the next 40 days to God!

Choose your own running/walking challenge:
1️⃣ The Daily Streak: Run/walk daily and pray for 40 days.
2️⃣ The Distance Goal: Clock 40km per week (flexible days) for the next 40 days.
3️⃣ The Consistent Pace: Do 4 runs/walks per week for the next 40 days.

It’s been an incredible 8 out of 10 weeks of training and fellowship as we’ve partnered with for the Unlabelled Run!

Running is more than just a physical activity – it’s an opportunity to build community and glorify God. Our devotional puts it beautifully: “The best runs are not the ones where we are seen—but where God is glorified through how we run.” ❤️

Tonight was a powerful reminder that our passions and purposes are intertwined. We’re designed to bring glory to God through the sports we love, and it’s incredible to see how that unfolds. We had a blast sharing stories, laughter, and challenges as we spurred each other on to live out our faith in the sports we’re passionate about. It was a beautiful sight to see people from different churches and backgrounds come together, united in their faith, on Sabbath day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. We shared a powerful experience of worship, running, and fellowship - and already looking forward to the next one! 🏃‍♀️
