What a weekend to remember at Football Fiesta 2026 by SPH Media!
Masjid Alkaff Kampung Melayu was proudly represented by TWO teams — Alkaff Youth and Abang Abang Alkaff.
Alkaff Youth, made up of our dedicated youth members, was the youngest team in the tournament. Despite facing seasoned teams from major organisations and companies, they displayed incredible determination, courage and fighting spirit throughout every match. Finishing 15th was no small feat, and we're immensely proud of how they carried the MAKM name on and off the field.
Abang Abang Alkaff, comprising asatizah from various mosques and organisations, entered the tournament with a noble mission - to win the $5,000 cash prize for our Mosque Upgrading Project (MUP). After battling through the knockout rounds, Abang Abang Alkaff's journey ended in a nail-biting penalty shootout. While the dream of lifting the trophy slipped away, their determination, teamwork and unwavering support for the mosque earned them a well-deserved 5th-place finish.
To every player, coach and volunteer who gave your time, energy and heart for MAKM, thank YOU! Your commitment means the world to us.
The trophy may not have come home this time, but the opportunity to showcase Masjid Alkaff Kampung Melayu to a wider community was a win for us. Every match played was a chance to represent our mosque, our youth and our spirit.
