Where are you looking for life? Thatโ€™s the question at the heart of our sermon this week. We spend so much of our lives chasing what we hope will finally make us feel alive: a career, a relationship, enough security to feel safe.

We are delighted to introduce Ps Linda Pang, who will soon be joining our CCMC family!

Before entering full-time ministry, Ps Linda worked as an architect for 25 years. She later answered Godโ€™s call to ministry and completed her theological education at Trinity Theological College.

Since August 2023, she has served as a Pastoral Team Member at Faith Methodist Church, serving in the Life Groups and Prayer ministries.

Ps Linda will join us as Assistant Pastor from 1 Aug 2026 and we look forward to her ministry at CCMC! ๐Ÿ™

๐“๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ, ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐‘๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฌ โค๏ธ

On 19 July, our church family gave thanks to God for Ps Rufus and his three years of faithful ministry at CCMC.

Since joining us in August 2023, Ps Rufus has served our church with warmth, humility and a heart for God's people. Through his preaching, pastoral care and leadership, he has faithfully pointed us to Christ and encouraged us to grow as His disciples.

Many of us will remember his infectious humour, witty puns, and the way he made God's Word engaging, relatable, and easy to understand. Beyond the pulpit, he invested deeply in people, building relationships, encouraging faith and journeying alongside many through different seasons of life.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day came after the services, as members across generations stayed behind to share conversations, write messages of appreciation and personally thank Ps Rufus. These simple moments spoke volumes about our church familyโ€™s love for him.

As he prepares for his next appointment, we give thanks for all God has done through his ministry at CCMC. While we will certainly miss him, we rejoice knowing that God will continue to lead and use him in this next season of ministry.

Thank you, Ps Rufus, for faithfully serving God and our church family. May the Lord continue to bless and guide you wherever He leads. You'll always be welcome at CCMC. โค๏ธ
