Mixed feelings this Christmas

These past two months, November and December 2025, have been filled with encouraging and challenging moments in my personal life, which explains the mix of emotions I am experiencing. December hasn't ended, and I wonder if there will be more surprises or shocks in store. Similarly, year-end is usually filled with a festive mood of Christmas for most parts of the world, a celebration of a great hope born for Christians or simply happy holidays to wrap up the year for non-believers....

Who do you think God is?

In your current season of life, do you see or think God is your Father, healer, peace or much more? God has different names in the Bible, because one name cannot fully capture His majesty, or express the nuances of our multifaceted God. Thus, the names of God are not contradictions but together give a more complete picture of who God is....

✨ A little testimony ✨

Sometime in November, God dropped two ideas of what I could write about -- one is about the Word of God (which led to this post), and the next is about the Names of God. Then, in a moment of revelation, I saw how these two topics were linked to the products I felt led to produce for sale at the Christmas markets.

I was in awe at how God connected the dots and revealed some meaning to what I'm doing. Because I didn't start this website to sell merchandise, but one thing led to another, and I wondered why I went through all the trouble to produce those items. Soon after I received these two revelations, I faced several medical emergencies, which I believe were part of spiritual warfare.

I first printed this t-shirt (photo above) for my husband and myself. Later, I realised it would be meaningful to produce more and sell — because it's better to have more walking reminders to direct our attention back to God and His Word, than having words around to subtly influence people to be anti-social or offensive.

For November 2025, I have Pastor Andrew Yeo () from Cornerstone Community church (.sg) to close the interview series of Pastors in 2025.

As I listened to Ps Andrew's story, I was reminded of what Jesus said when He heard Lazarus was ill in John 11:4, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

Because of what Ps Andrew went through, miracles could shine through as testimonies. And because of his valleys, he had a deeper revelation of what the sacrifice of worship meant and thus able to lead in a sweeter aroma of worship.
