Here in Hunsdon, our church is a family, and we would be delighted to welcome you as new brothers and sisters, rejoicing together in the love God has shown us in his Son, Jesus Christ. Our new sermon series, “The Human Condition: The Gospel Answer,” begins at Hunsdon Church on Sunday, 6th September.

The opening theme is “Lost and Wandering”, exploring Ezekiel 34:11–16 and Luke 15:1–7.

Hunsdon Church is a certified Fairtrade Church, reflecting a long-standing commitment to ethical purchasing and global justice. This means Fairtrade tea, coffee, and sugar are used across all church events and hospitality. We also use Fairtrade communion wine!

The choice to pursue Fairtrade accreditation is driven by a belief in responsible stewardship and out of love for producers. By selecting Fairtrade goods, the church supports fair wages and safe working conditions for farmers and workers in developing countries. As part of the global Anglican Communion, this commitment is the least we can do to show support for our brothers and sisters all around the world.

Where appropriate, issues of trade justice are mentioned in sermons and events like our "Lent Lunch" are an opportunity to highlight the global impact of ethical choices. Participation in the annual Fairtrade Fortnight (21st September to 4th October this year) further raises awareness about the importance of fair pricing in trade.

Our Fairtrade status is reviewed and renewed periodically to maintain active participation in the scheme.

Our "Learning from the Master" series concludes on Sunday, 30th August.

We’ll be exploring the theme "The call of the Kingdom" at our 10:30am service. It’s always a joy to worship together, and we’re particularly pleased to be joined by members from Widford and Wareside churches for this service at Hunsdon.

Our church doors will be open once again on Saturday, 29th August.

The space is yours to enjoy. Whether you're interested in exploring the local history preserved within these walls, looking for a quiet corner for reflection and prayer, or simply want to sit and take in the stillness of the building, everyone is welcome to drop in at their own pace.

It’s a simple opportunity to find some breathing space in the middle of the day.
