Join us at Wareside Church on Sunday 16th August at 10:30am for the next in our sermon series, "Learning from the Master." We'll be exploring what Jesus has "For Foreigners."

As with all the services through the summer, we're delighted to be joining with members from Widford and Hunsdon churches, too. We'd love to see you as well.

Have you got your listening ears ready for a wonderful late summer gathering?

We are so excited to announce An Evening with Mario and Co! Save the date for Sunday 23rd August, from 7pm to 10pm down at The Barn, Watersplace. It promises to be a brilliant night of music, dancing and good company, organised by the Friends of Wareside Church.

Last Friday, our historic church building had a very special visitor. An architect came by to carry out our five-yearly "Quinquennial Inspection," taking a close look at every corner of our 185-year-old home here in the village.

Looking after a building that has stood at the heart of Wareside for nearly two centuries is a real labour of love. From the arched doorway to the domed sanctuary roof, every brick tells a story of the generations who have gathered, prayed, and celebrated life events here. These regular check-ups help us care for our heritage properly, ensuring this peaceful place remains warm, safe, and available for everyone in our community for years to come.

Have you ever had news so good you just couldn’t keep it to yourself?

That feeling of being absolutely bursting to share something wonderful is exactly what we’re exploring in the next part of our current series, ‘Good News for the World’.

On Sunday 12th July, we’re looking at ‘Compelled Speech’: the idea that when we encounter something truly life-changing, we simply can’t stop talking about it!

Ever feel like the headlines are a bit much? 📺

We’re often surrounded by news that feels heavy, but here at Wareside, we’re spending some time looking at a different kind of story. We’re continuing our ‘Good News for the World’ series on Sunday, 28th June, with a look at being ‘Ready to Respond’.

It’s not about having all the answers or being an expert; it’s just about speaking with integrity and being authentic. We’d love you to join us at Wareside Church for a morning of music, prayer and encouraging teaching. And afterwards - a bit of a natter over a coffee. What's not to like?

Last week at Widford Church, we started a brand-new sermon series called "Good News for the World." Over the coming weeks, we’ll be exploring how we share that Good News in our neighbourhood and beyond.

This Sunday's sermon is titled "How will they hear?" It’s a chance to reflect on how we communicate the things that truly matter in an increasingly busy world.

Whether you’ve been a part of Wareside Church for years or you’ve just moved into the village and are looking for a friendly place to land, we’d love you to join us. You may hear something you've been missing!
