Our Little Treasures, Our Future Generation!

At RCCG Open Heaven Assembly, Truro, we are passionate about raising children who love God, know His Word, and grow in faith, wisdom, and confidence.

Here are some beautiful moments captured with our wonderful children in church.

A NEW NAME

| Excerpts from Sunday’s Service

Did you know that sometimes a name can come from the circumstances surrounding you, and sometimes you can even give yourself a name?

Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham because she believed she could not have children. By doing so, she had already allowed her situation to define how she saw herself.

Sometimes, we do the same. We allow what we are going through to become our identity.

But a new name means a new identity. You might have been known for something before, but when you receive a new name, it represents a new identity, a new beginning, and a new story.

Your present circumstances do not have to define who you are.

What a powerful time we had in God’s presence from heartfelt worship and praise to fellowship and the transforming Word of God.

If you are in Truro or anywhere in Cornwall and looking for a Bible-believing church where you can worship, grow in God’s Word, and enjoy genuine Christian fellowship, we would love to welcome you to RCCG Open Heaven Assembly, Truro.

Excerpts from Yesterday’s Sermon | A NEW NAME

What is a name? A name is an identifier. It is what we use to distinguish one person from another.

But sometimes, the circumstances surrounding a person can also give them a name.

Blind Bartimaeus was not born with the name “Blind Bartimaeus.” His condition became how people identified him.

Yesterday, we were reminded that the circumstances surrounding us may try to give us a name, but they do not have to define who we are forever.

What a powerful Word!
