Grieving is hard - being cast out from a funeral is even harder. Yet this is Rashila’s story.

She was raised in a family devoted to their mountain deities, but when she married a Christian man, she came to the saving knowledge of Christ. Sadly, Rashila has been mocked, shamed, and ridiculed for abandoning her previous deities and becoming a Christian.

Now, Rashila is in grave danger if she ever steps foot into her own village. Recently, Rashila’s father passed away, and she wasn’t even allowed to attend his funeral.

Despite these challenges, Rashila and her husband continue to praise the Lord and serve Him faithfully in the church.
