The extra funds collected will be put to good use throughout the year to buy any additional items as needed ☺️

🌳As you all know that while parkrun is a free, volunteer led, community event we must adhere to parkrun regulations, one being that an event cannot take place if our Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is not available.

❤️ parkrun generously provided us with an AED which is on site every week. However the batteries for this expire in a few months and it is up to us to replace these, they cost almost £100.

💰So we are asking for donations! If our regular participants could each donate £1(or two, but no more!) we could easily collect the funds needed. If you would like to help out please use the following link BUT SCROLL DOWN TO THE PURPLE DONATE TO THIS EVENT BUTTON, DON'T DONATE THROUGH THE ORANGE BUTTON (as this is for parkrun in general and we won't get those donations!):

☀️ It was a lovely morning for the 90 people who joined us this morning, well done everyone!

🤩 Huge thanks as always to our fantastic volunteer squad who make parkrun possible week after week. We'd love to see new faces help out, so get in touch if you can give up one Saturday to volunteer rather than run or walk! There are also roles where you can do both!

👋 It was a shy crowd this morning! There were actually 12 first timers, not just one visiting from Manchester! Thanks for joining us, really hope you enjoyed it and we see you again! We love seeing all the kids take part too, parkrun is the perfect place for families 😊

We also had a few undeclared milestones!

🔴 Congrats and thanks to our regular Stephen who reached his 50 volunteer milestone today 👏
