I would like to invite all those who helped in any way with the celebration of my golden jubilee, to dinner in the Hall at Aughabrack on Friday 16 October, 7.30 for 8.00p.m. That includes those who prepared and decorated the church and the hall, those who participated in the liturgy, especially the organist, choirs and soloists, those who helped with the parking, and the team of caterers who provided a delicious supper. Please sent in acceptances by email.

Season of Creation 2026: The Season of Creation takes place from 1 September to 4 October, bringing Christians throughout the world together in prayer, reflection and action for the care of our common home. This year’s theme, Living Water, invites us to give thanks for the gift of water and renew our care for God’s creation.
Donegal Group 173 Rise and Shine Trust (formerly The Irish Handicapped Children's Pilgrimage Trust and The Irish Pilgrimage Trust) are celebrating 40 years of taking young people with special needs to Lourdes each Easter. We are celebrating with a special Mass on Saturday 26th September in the Church of the Irish Martyr's Letterkenny at 12 noon. The Mass will be concelebrated by Bishop Niall Coll and Bishop Donal Mc Keowan Diocese of Derry and many of the priests who travelled to Lourdes with us over the years. We invite all the guests and their families and all the helpers who travelled with us over the years to our mass to celebrate Our Lady of Lourdes.

Crafters Group – ‘Crafts & Laughs’ – Resumes Tuesday 8th September @7.30pm. This is an informal craft group and can include all sorts of crafts – crochet, knitting, needlework & embroidery just to name a few. All abilities and new members welcome.
Walking Club – Tuesday mornings at 10am. Resuming Tuesday 8th September. Meeting at Aughabrack Community Hall and finishing in the hall with a cup of tea. All fitness levels welcome.
Aughabrack Tots – Resumes Thursday 10th September 9.30-11.15am. Everyone welcome.
Roller Skating For All Ages (8+) – Thursday 10th September for 6 weeks, 7-8pm. Suitable for all levels, beginners welcome. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Roller boots available to borrow or bring your own.

Blessing of Bikers and Motorcycles will take place on Sunday 13 September in St Aengus’ Chapel, Burt, Co Donegal, at 1:30. All are welcome to attend the brief service and blessing. Following the blessing all are welcome to join the run to Ned’s Point RNLI Station, to present the donation to the RNLI.
Please note, Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 13 September in St Patrick’s Chapel, DUNGIVEN, at 11:30am for deceased bikers, especially those who have died in past year.
Catholic Mothers Ireland – Family Day: Catholic Mothers Ireland will hold its Annual National Mass on Sunday, 6 September at Termonbacca Retreat Centre, Derry.
The day will begin with Mass at 2.00pm, celebrated by Bishop Donal McKeown, followed by refreshments, children's activities, and a talk for parents.
