I would like to invite all those who helped in any way with the celebration of my golden jubilee, to dinner in the Hall at Aughabrack on Friday 16 October, 7.30 for 8.00p.m. That includes those who prepared and decorated the church and the hall, those who participated in the liturgy, especially the organist, choirs and soloists, those who helped with the parking, and the team of caterers who provided a delicious supper. Please sent in acceptances by email. Partners are also welcome. Please indicate in your reply if you will be accompanied.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Derry Diocese is renewing and developing its Diocesan Adoration Lay Committee in order to increase the practice of Eucharistic Adoration in parishes throughout the diocese. You are welcome to attend an Information Meeting on Wed 30 Sept, 8.00pm, in The Drummond Hotel, 2 Main St., Ballykelly, BT49 9HP. Registration and light refreshments from 7.30pm.
Our Lady, Untier of Knots Novena - The Novena to Our Lady, Untier of Knots will begin after the 7.30pm Mass on Thursday, 1st October in Saint Eugene’s Cathedral. It will continue for the following eight Thursdays, concluding on 26th November. Do you have “knots” in your life? Knots of discord in your family, unresolved pain in relationships, or a lack of peace and joy in your home? Sometimes life can feel like one overwhelming knot, especially when we face health challenges or burdens beyond our control. This Novena reminds us that sin never entangled Our Lady, and that Christ gave us His Mother as Our Lady, Untier of Knots. Through this devotion, we entrust our personal “knots” to her loving care—learning to let go and allowing her to gently untie what binds us. All are welcome to join in prayer and reflection during this special time of grace.

Some old cast iron lamp standards are available for sale. They can be inspected in the garden at the parochial house. The are identical to the ones that are still in situ around St. Patrick's Church.

Crafters Group – ‘Crafts & Laughs’ – Resumes Tuesday 8th September @7.30pm. This is an informal craft group and can include all sorts of crafts – crochet, knitting, needlework & embroidery just to name a few. All abilities and new members welcome.
Walking Club – Tuesday mornings at 10am. Resuming Tuesday 8th September. Meeting at Aughabrack Community Hall and finishing in the hall with a cup of tea. We are actively seeking new members for this group as we feel it is the perfect way to get out there, unwind, clear the head and meet/talk to others. All fitness levels are welcome.
Aughabrack Tots – Resumes Thursday 10th September 9.30-11.15am. Everyone welcome.
Roller Skating For All Ages (8+) – Thursday 10th September for 6 weeks, 7-8pm. Suitable for all lev - els, beginners welcome. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Roller boots available to borrow or bring your own.
Youth Club – Tuesday 6-30-7.30pm , P5-7. 7.30-8.30pm, 1st & 2nd years. Please note there will be no youth club on Tuesday 29th September. Back as normal next week.

MICHAEL ENGLISH CHURCH CONCERT: An evening of Faith, Hope and Inspiration. The concert takes place on Friday 2 October at 7.15pm, in St Patrick's Church, Keenaught, Desertmartin. Music Classes - will commence on Monday 28th September in St. Peter’s P.S, Plumbridge- classes are open to Children from 6 years up to adults. Those wishing to return to learning an instrument are especially welcome.
The classes start with a 10 Week block from Beginners - 6.30pm Improvers - 7.00pm Advanced- 7.30pm
Tuition available in the following Whistle, Banjo, Mandolin, Concertinam, Button Accordion, Piano Accordion.
Tuition for other instruments may become available in due course.
