This year’s Week of Prayer was our biggest yet, with strong engagement across Christ Church Manchester. Throughout the week, many joined early morning prayer, the prayer room, lunchtime prayer, and Breakthrough gatherings across the city.

We concluded the week with our largest CCM Day to date, gathering all sites together at Parrs Wood High School. The atmosphere was one of gratitude and expectation as Tim Simmonds shared vision for the future of the church and reflected on what God has been doing among us.

A significant and encouraging moment for our church as we move forward together. Tim’s message is available on the CCM Sermon Podcast.

First Sunday in our new Heatons venue 🎉
So many of you came, including some new faces! The main room felt like such a gift, the Bee Kids + Crèche rooms worked brilliantly, and the outdoor space is amazing. 🌿

We’re so thankful for this new home and for everyone who’s been praying with us, it really does feel like a massive blessing. 🙌

✨ Big News for Heatons! ✨

Prayers answered 🙌 our Heatons site has found a brand new home! Starting this Sunday, we’ll be meeting at St Thomas’ CE Junior School, Buckingham Road, Heaton Moor (SK4 4QY) at 10:30AM.

It’s everything we could’ve hoped for: spacious rooms, loads of room for our growing children’s ministry, a big room to worship God in, even an amazing outdoor area. We’re so thankful to God for providing more than we asked for, and we can’t wait to see all that He’ll do in this next season. 🌱

This Sunday is the start of something new, and you’re invited!

🐝✨ Boxes of fresh new kids’ work resources incoming!

Over the past year (or so… let’s be real, these things take time 😅), we’ve been thinking, praying, and planning for our ever-growing kids’ work. Our heart is to see young people grow into bold, loving, and faith-filled individuals, not just for themselves, but for others and for Jesus.

That’s why we’re so excited to officially launch Bee Kids! 🐝We believe this will be more than just playtime; it’s a chance to wrap our arms around our communities, love families well, and create a space where kids can freely explore all the good things God has for them. Jesus says children belong in His Kingdom, so we say they Bee-long in our church too. 🥹💛🧡💙💚🩵🩷

Huge praise for all the incredible helpers who have made this possible, we couldn’t do it without you! The future is buzzing. 🐝✨

Heatons is a community where people are rooted in connection, and we’re believing for even greater breakthrough here. We’re praying for the presence of God to bring transformation, renewal, and a deep sense of belonging to everyone in the area. 🙏💚

This Friday, we’re coming together as a site-wide family to seek God’s plans for the Heatons and the wider community. As we wrap up our month of prayer, we’re standing in faith for breakthrough in relationships, renewal, and God’s love being made known.
