This year’s Week of Prayer was our largest to date, with people across Christ Church Manchester engaging in prayer in a variety of meaningful ways. From early morning prayer and the prayer room, to lunchtime gatherings and evening Breakthrough events, it was encouraging to see so many choosing to make space to seek God together.

The week concluded with our most attended CCM Day, as all sites gathered at Parrs Wood High School. Tim Simmonds shared vision for the future of Christ Church Manchester, alongside stories of what God has already been doing among us.

It was a thoughtful and unifying moment for our church family as we look ahead together. Tim’s message is available now on the CCM Sermon Podcast.

Carols, community, festive refreshments, and a morning full of Christmas hope. Wear a jumper, wear a star, wear a shepherd's costume if you want. Bring someone along to experience it with you.

On Thursday 16th October, 7:30PM at Luther King House (M14 5JP) we’ll be hosting an evening to help us think about how we can share our faith in the places God’s put us. At work, at home, or in our communities, this will be a great evening to encourage and equip us together.

This morning we shared some big news! ✨

Mike & Hannah Knight, who have been part of leading our Ladybarn site for a number of years, are stepping into a new season. With a growing sense of call towards Fallowfield, they’ll be moving across to join that community as their family grows and God opens new doors for them.

We’d love you to join us on Sunday 12th October for their final Sunday with us. 🙌

We’ll celebrate together, pray for them as they go, and share lunch afterwards.

Let’s send them off full of joy in the Lord 💙

It’s been a powerful few weeks. Off the back of our Presence People series, there’s been a growing hunger for prayer, in homes, on the streets, before our gatherings, and right across our site.

Last week, we joined every Christ Church Manchester site to pray for breakthrough in the city. We believe God’s stirring hearts, raising up new voices, and drawing us deeper into His presence.

Something is shifting in Ladybarn.
Since finishing our Presence People series, a fresh hunger for prayer is rising. People are asking about praying on the streets, stepping into new rhythms of prayer, and showing up early on Sundays just to seek God together. We’re seeing new voices step up during response times too, sharing pictures and scriptures with boldness.

We’re praying this momentum grows, that God would deepen our hunger, stir hearts, and make us even more attentive to His Spirit.

We’re so looking forward to gathering together for a special morning of baptisms on Saturday 21st June, 11AM at Kingsburn Hall (M19 1RS).
We’ll be celebrating the joy of new life in Jesus and then sharing food afterwards, you’re very welcome to come and be part of it.
If you’ve been considering being baptised, please speak with your site leader, we’d love to help you take that step.

Did you know is turning 20 Years old!! Come celebrate with us. We’ll be here at Ladybarn Community Hub, this Saturday 24th from 3-6PM. We’ll have a BIG BBQ, with lots of food, bouncy castle and lots of fun for the kids too. It’s a huge joy for us to be a part of this and we’d love it if you came too. See ya Saturday!

Such a brilliant morning celebrating the resurrection of Jesus with our Ladybarn community!

We lifted our voices in worship, shared the good news of new life, and celebrated together with friends, neighbours, and family.
