In case you missed it....our church building is 60 this year. From its routes at Larkfields School as a Sunday School the church eventually began where it is 60 years ago. Our wonderful Creative Corner have made some beautiful bunting. Doesn't it look wonderful?

What a wonderful morning of worship today! 🙏

We were delighted to welcome the Vice-President of the Methodist Conference, Mrs Caroline Stead, to join us for worship as we reflected on the theme of including, valuing and supporting all.

Through Scripture, music, prayer, film and reflection, we were reminded that every person is wonderfully made in the image of God. From the creation story in Genesis, to Moses’ hesitancy in Exodus, we explored what it means to recognise the gifts, dignity and contribution of every person — and to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to flourish.

We particularly enjoyed the film about surf dog therapy 🐕🏄‍♂️, which gave us a joyful reminder that sometimes inclusion means recognising gifts and possibilities in places we might not immediately expect!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the worship, and the wonderful food and cake afterwards, and especially to our Vice-President for being with us and sharing in our worship.

As we were reminded today, God’s love is for all — and our calling is to ensure that all are included, valued, supported and able to enjoy the fullness of life God intends for them. ❤️
