Fancy a movie night with a difference? Why not check this out?
St Cyprian's has partnered with Showcase Cinema de Lux Nottingham (Lenton) to host a special programme of faith-based and thought-provoking films in the run-up to Holy Week and Easter. The initiative has been coordinated by Father Lee, Curate at St Cyprianβs, working alongside cinema manager and parishioner Tim Thorpe.
At the heart of the programme are three powerful new films:
π§ππ πππ¦π§ π¦π¨π£π£ππ₯ β a dramatic retelling of the final meal of Jesus and his disciples, exploring betrayal, loyalty, sacrifice, and the birth of a movement that changed the world. (20 March)

π§ππ πππ₯π¦π§ ππ¬π π‘ β a fascinating documentary tracing the discovery and reconstruction of the earliest known Christian hymn, offering a rare glimpse into the worship and faith of the first believers, and brought to life by Chris Tomlin. (27 + 29 March)

ππππ₯π‘ππ‘π π¬π’π¨ β through the lens of a billionaire father and his autistic son, we learn the healing power of love. The film is ideal for those who might not be tempted to something explicitly Christian, but where the Gospel hope of grace and reconciliation is at the fore. (15 March)

Father Lee writes: "Faith has always found expression in public spaces ... in music, art, and storytelling. Faith and Flicks is about creating a welcoming place where people can explore big questions through the shared experience of film."
