Today on Easter Saturday, here is the final video in this series on Holy Week, on the topic of Surprise. Jesus' followers found themselves utterly shocked and surprised when their friend, their teacher, their hope of a better life, was crucified on a hill outside Jerusalem. As two of them sadly made their way back home, it was Jesus' turn to be surprised as he met them on the roadside; didn't the prophets predicts that Jesus himself would rise from the dead? What is there to be miserable about?!

Today is Good Friday, when we remember and give thanks for Jesus' incredible sacrifice on the cross. Easter is coming and we have so much to celebrate!

Here at Silklife we have services on Good Friday, 3rd April and Easter Sunday, 5th April, at our regular time of 10.30am to 12.15pm. Join us from 10am for refreshments.

We will also have a celebratory bring and share lunch on Good Friday from 12.30pm. It you can, bring something to share, and please feel encouraged to bring something that celebrates your heritage - we love different flavours from around the world!
