*DOMINION OVER FEAR OF DEATH*

_*”Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bo***ge (Hebrews 2:14-15).”*_

The scripture above is as clear as it is emphatic: the Lord Jesus has completely destroyed the one who had the power of death, the devil, and delivered humanity from the fear of death. He didn’t come to give us a partial victory. His work wasn’t unfinished or incomplete. He fully defeated Satan who had the power of death.

2 Timothy 1:10 says, He _*”...abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”*_ He replaced death with life and deathlessness. Hallelujah! This is the message of faith. This is the Word of the Gospel: death has been abolished.

Consider the early apostles; they didn’t die because they grew old or weak. The Scriptures reveal that their departure from this world was consistent with their specific calling and choice to seal the message of the Gospel with their blood. They laid down their lives; death had no power over them.

The Christian life is the transcendent life, not a slow succumbing to death, corruption or decay. You were not designed to “wear out.” The life of God in you is incorruptible; it’s divine; it’s ageless. It doesn’t diminish or deteriorate. You’re in the death-free and fear-free zone. Live in Christ’s victory every day: fearless, strong and full of life. Praise God!

*I’m fearless and bold, living in the consciousness that the Lord Jesus has abolished death and brought me into life and immortality. I walk in strength, health and glory. I live in Christ’s victory: fearless, strong and full of life. Amen.*

Because God loves me, I enjoy Divine Protection, Supernatural Provision, and Unending Favour. *THE LAW OF LIFE*

_*”For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).”*_

Many have struggled with the underlined expression in our opening scripture as though "the law of sin and death" is one combined law. But in the context of Romans 7 and 8, death itself is not a law. There’s the law of sin, and there’s death as a consequence. The actual rendering is: “the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin, and from death.”

In chapter 7, Paul emphasises the law of sin that was at work in him before Christ, and he also speaks of death separately. When he comes into chapter 8, verse 2, he shows that the superior law—the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus—has liberated you from both the law of sin and from death.

You no longer live under the principles of this world that govern those who are outside Christ, who are subject to death, decadence and corruption. You live by the law of life. This is why you must refuse to harbour the fear of death. The life of God in you is not subject to death. You have passed from death unto life (John 5:24).

Refuse the language, thoughts and expectations of those who are still under the fear of death. Declare boldly that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is working in every fibre of your being, in every cell of your blood, in every bone of your body. Glory to God!

*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for bringing me under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This law is at work in me, energising my body, renewing my mind, and propelling me in the path of righteousness and glory. I am free from the law of sin and from death; I walk in life, health, victory and dominion every day. I refuse fear, and I live boldly in the reality of your finished work in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*BORN INTO DIVINITY*

_*”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).”*_

When you were born again, what the Bible says is that you were baptized into Christ: _*“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?”*_ (Romans 6:3). Galatians 3:27 says, _*“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”*_

So, being born again, you were born into God, into divinity, by the Word, through the Spirit of God. You were actually received into Christ. That’s why the Bible says, _*“...If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature...”*_ (2 Corinthians 5:17); he’s born anew with the God-life and God-nature.

Your human life was not merged with eternal life; it was replaced by it. This is what the Bible teaches. And if you don’t know it, you’ll never live in the reality of the divine life. Your knowledge of it activates the experience. That’s why in 1 John 5:13, the Spirit, through the Apostle John, tells us, _*“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life....”*_

God wants you to know that you have His life in you. That life doesn’t cohabit with sickness, disease, or infirmities; it destroys them. The divine life in you is incorruptible, indestructible and impregnable to failure and death. But if you don’t know it, you’d live as a mere man, suffering the same afflictions as those without Christ.

That’s why you must understand what it truly means to be born again. It’s to have the pulsating life of Christ in you. It’s to be translated or transferred from mortality into immortality, from humanity into divinity. Blessed be God!

*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of eternal life that I have in Christ Jesus. I walk in the consciousness that I have the life and nature of God in my spirit. This life makes me superior to sickness, disease and darkness. I live victoriously always, demonstrating the divine life in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
