Trinity Methodist Church, Harrogate We offer an open invitation for all to join our worship and fellowship, which may lead to new or ren Trinity is busy throughout the year with weddings.

Trinity Methodist Church occupies a most beautiful and enviable position overlooking the Stray. It is an imposing Gothic-style structure and standing as it does on a triangular plot it forms a pleasing feature of the Harrogate landscape. The Foundation stones were laid in October 1876 and the Church was opened for worship in April 1879. The Schoolroom was added in 1888 along with the Chapel Keeper

s Cottage. Many organizations in the Harrogate area use the facilities for meetings and functions. Trinity provides a place for worship and prayer, reflection and quietness alongside busy main roads. In the wider community we are committed to work out our faith in God our Father, as we see him in Jesus and to care for all, whatever their status or condition, through prayer and service. We offer an open invitation for all to join our worship and fellowship, which may lead to new or renewed faith and Church growth. The church was modernised in 2011.

Messy Summer Sundays ☀️

This week is all about our Messy Church core value of hospitality.

Hospitality is about so much more than sharing food. It's about helping people feel welcome, included and valued. Every smile, kind word and invitation can help someone know they belong.

📖 This week's verse: "Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practise hospitality." - Romans 12:13

💛 Try this together: Take on the Welcome Challenge! Choose one way to help someone feel they belong this week. You could:
• Invite someone to join your game.
• Write or draw a cheerful note for a neighbour or friend.
• Smile and say hello to someone you don't usually speak to.
• Help someone who looks like they need a hand.

Talk together afterwards about how it felt to welcome someone else.

🚶Outdoor challenge: Go on a Kindness Hunt. As you walk, look for opportunities to show kindness - holding a gate open, greeting someone with a smile or helping someone along the way. Thank God for every chance to share his love.

What a wonderful evening we had yesterday! It was lovely to see old and new friends coming together to enjoy such an awesome experience, with plenty of laughter, friendship and good food. ❤️
The eclipse gave us a wonderful opportunity to pause and marvel at God’s amazing creation and the incredible world he has made. 🌍✨
