❤️ Junior Church Anniversary – Thank You ❤️
What a truly wonderful morning we shared together as we celebrated our Junior Church Anniversary. Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who helped make it such a special occasion.
First and foremost, thank you to every single person who has been part of Junior Church over the years. To the wonderful children who have brought so much laughter, curiosity and joy to our church family; to the leaders, helpers, parents, grandparents, carers and congregation who have encouraged, supported and nurtured them in faith—thank you. Together, you have helped generations of children to grow in God's love.
A special thank you to Lynette, who has dedicated so much of her time to Junior Church over the years. Your commitment and care have meant so much to so many.
A very special thank you to our amazing Esther. With a joyful heart and a brave spirit, you carried our Junior Church Anniversary service so beautifully. Standing at the front to read the prayers and Bible readings takes courage, and you did it with such confidence and grace. Your enthusiasm was infectious, your smile lit up the church, and you reminded us all that young people have such an important place in God's family. Esther, you are a shining light in our church!
To Carole, our wonderful Junior Church leader—thank you. You give your whole heart to everything you do, always putting your faith, our children and our church family first. Your dedication, creativity and willingness to go above and beyond never go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for all that you do.
Thank you to Ruth and John, who are always so willing to serve in whatever way is needed. From preparing and serving the tea and coffee to quietly washing everything up afterwards, your kindness and servant-heartedness are a real blessing to our church family.
To Rachel, thank you for all the love, care and encouragement you've shared through Junior Church. As you step down from your role, we want you to know how much you've been appreciated. Please remember that you and your family will always be welcome at Killinghall Methodist Chapel whenever you fancy popping in to say hello. We wish you every blessing for the future.
A heartfelt thank you to Guy for leading our hymns today—and every Sunday. It's such an important role, and you carry it out faithfully with a smile and without complaint. We appreciate you more than you know.
And thank you to Neil—our very own "Laptop Man"! Thank you for helping everything run so smoothly behind the scenes and for coming to my rescue whenever I was having a little flap! Your calm support made such a difference.
Finally, thank you to our amazing congregation. You embraced every activity with enthusiasm, shared memories, got stuck into the crafts, and filled the chapel with conversation, laughter and encouragement. You made the morning feel so joyful and gave it such a wonderful buzz.
Thank you to our whole church family at Killinghall Methodist Chapel. We are incredibly blessed to have one another, and we pray that, for many years to come, we will continue to worship, learn, serve and grow together in God's love. ❤️
