Our mission: We are a Church which aims to make people feel they belong, tries to meet the needs of all God's people and takes every opportunity to spread the gospel message to the local community. As you can see from our mission statement, we work very hard at trying to make everyone welcome and our hope is that if you visit us you will experience that sense of belonging. Our congregation is made

up of friendly people who come from different backgrounds who share a common faith and who have made Springfield Cambridge their spiritual home. We unite together in a common desire to worship and praise God, but we also seek to practically meet the needs of God’s people in any way that we can.

MESSAGE FROM LIFT SENT TO OUR GUILD - CONTACT DETAILS BELOW FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING

My name is Clair Macdonald and I am the Communications Officer for the Church of Scotland Guild. I am contacting you about our ecumenical group LiFT’s as described in the poster. We are holding our next event in Carnwadric Parish Church in the Southside of Glasgow on the 24th of October from 11am-2pm. We’d love to see the 18-40 year olds from your church and communities attend if they are available. We will have a speaker and lunch will be provided as well as telling attendees who we are and what we do and holding a discussion based around Luke 24:13-35.

FOODBANK UPDATE

12.75kg and £80 in donations were delivered to the Foodbank on behalf of the congregation. In short supply at the Foodbank are tins spaghetti, sweetcorn, carrots and meat but all non perishable donations are gratefully received. Sincere thanks to all those who regularly support this outreach to our community.
