The collections for East Renfrewshire Foodbank and The Lodging House Mission will be on Sunday 7th June at church and on Wednesday 10th June in the church hall between 10-11am.
The Foodbank would welcome donations of anything that would be in a normal weekly shop.
The Lodging House Mission have requested tinned chopped tomatoes, tinned lentils, diluting juice, Brown sauce, Tomato ketchup, Pot noodles and Packet noodles.

Great turnout today in support of . Strawberry Tea and Plant Sale were a huge success as usual 💖 Thank you everyone who came along and bought plants and then enjoyed a freshly baked scone with cream & strawberries 💕 Special thanks to Mandy and her team who are just amazing and every year organise our , Plant Sale & Strawberry Tea ❤️❤️❤️

Please Be Aware:
A local resident has called to report that there were people going door to door stating they were fundraising and seeking donations for Mearns Kirk Helping Hands. MKHH are not aware of any fundraising taking place by groups of people and state that no one would be fundraising without a letter of authorisation. The same applies to our church, Mearns Kirk. Please do not entertain any such callers.
The matter has since been reported to the police.
