Church was packed out for our Easter Sunday service this morning (despite the weather!) as we not only celebrated the resurrection of Christ, but two other special occasions.

Our congregation grew yet again with the baptism of baby Alexander, showing that the community of Christ is strong at Colston Wellpark. We pray for God's blessing on him and his family.

However, we also bid a sad farewell to our minister of 3 years, Rev. Malcolm Cuthbertson, who is retiring after 4 decades of ministry. We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his dedicated service not only to our church, but all those he has served throughout the years.

From all at Colston Wellpark Parish Church, we wish you all a very happy and peaceful Easter.

Please note that we have received a citation from Presbytery to meet at Burnside Blairbeth Church on the 10th March at 19:00 regarding the proposed merger of our church with Springburn and Tron St Mary's.

We would ask all to come along and support us if you can.

You may all know that Colston Wellpark is currently threatened under the current Presbytery plan. This would result in our beautiful and historic building being closed.

We would like to ask that all who care about Colston sign this petition in protest:

12 signatures are needed to reach the next milestone!

This Sunday 9th November, we will be having our annual Remembrance Sunday service to commemorate those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, including those from our own parish.

Please note the service will begin slightly earlier at 10:45. As always, all are welcome.

Today we celebrated the 110th anniversary of Colston Wellpark Church. We were blessed to see so many people that have been part of the Colston Wellpark story.

We were also delighted to welcome our local MSP Paul Sweeney, who presented us with a motion of congratulations from the Scottish Parliament. Thank you to him for his ongoing support for our parish.

While it hasn't always been a simple 110 years, with multiple names and homes over the decades, today reminded us that our mission to spread God's word and care for our community is still very much ongoing.

From everyone at Colston Wellpark Parish Church, we wish you all a very happy Easter! We were delighted to have not only...

Today we celebrated the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the ministry of our own Rev. Malcolm Cuthbertson. In those 40 years, he has overseen over 800 baptisms and 400 weddings, served in parishes all over the city, led committees helping serve those parishes most in need, and been a guide and friend to countless.

From all at Colston Wellpark, thank you Malcolm, and congratulations on such an impressive milestone!
