Over the past week, our Year 11 students have taken part in their Gaisce / Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award practice and expedition. They navigated a range of challenges with resilience and teamwork, demonstrating excellent commitment and independence. Well done everyone! 💙👏🏻

We were delighted to welcome back former pupil Eileen O’Higgins as the adjudicator for our 2026 Key Stage 3 Drama Festival! Having starred in films such as Mary Queen of Scots, Emma, and the Oscar‑winning Brooklyn, it was a real privilege for our students to learn from her experience and talent. Eileen thoroughly enjoyed the performances, even recognising plays she had performed herself as a pupil, and was truly impressed by the incredible standard on display.

A huge congratulations to all our winning classes and actors and well done to everyone who took part! 💙👏🏻

And so the curtain falls on the first day of our Key Stage 3 Drama Festival, and what a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity and confidence our Year 9s and 10s gave us! From Shakespearean witches, Dromara heartthrobs, Liverpudlian giants and princesses with possessed shoes, the audience and judges were entertained from start to finish.

A special congratulations to our winning actors and classes — your performances were truly outstanding. Photos and videos of all performances to follow later in the week! ⭐

The first act may be over, but the drama continues… we can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s Year 8 performances and external adjudication bring! 💙🎭

With performances from our talented Year 8, 9 and 10 students, the stage is set for an inspiring celebration of creativity, confidence and collaboration. Over the coming days, our young performers will bring stories to life, showcasing not only their growing passion for theatre, but also the dedication and teamwork that make each production truly special.

It’s fantastic to see our students developing their voices, building friendships and learning the power of working together toward a shared goal. We can’t wait to watch them shine, break a leg to all involved! 💙🥳👏🏻

Our final extra-curricular update of the 2025-2026 academic year!

🎉 Aoife and Lily (Year 10) recently won their netball All Star Finals heat and are travelling to Birmingham in July to represent Northern Ireland in the Home Nations Cup! 💙👏🏻

🎉 Aoife (Year 9) placed runner-up in the Under 13 Championship at the Belfast Irish Dancing Festival recently! 💙👏🏻

🎉 Sunisa (Year 9) recently placed first in Jig at the Newcastle Festival! 💙👏🏻

🎉 Well done to Freya who recently came third in the Jump Start gymnastics and tumbling competition! 💙👏🏻

We are grateful to our parents and guardians for supporting our social media accounts during this academic year, and we encourage parents to continue to follow and share our posts to maximise exposure.
