🥳 CONGRATULATIONS ANCHOR BOYS 🥳

The Anchor Boys finished off the year at the Down Battalion Anchor Boys Sports day.

The boys did fantastic and came RUNNERS UP overall 👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉

Thank you to all the boys who came, with everyone winning some heats and many winning races in the finals and others coming 2nd and 3rd.

Well done boys, thanks again for coming and have a great summer break!

The Anchor Boys finished off their last Monday night of a season with a trip to Global Adventures, while the the Junior Section and Company Section had a pizza eating competition..... 🔥 😀👍

Last night was the last official uniformed parade night for BB this season. The Anchor Boys and Junior Section were presented with their badge work awards for all their achievements this year.

Some Anchor Boys received a prize for full attendance this year and some boys received an award for getting full marks for their uniform all year. Well done everyone 👏👏👏

We will miss the P4 Anchor Boys and P7 Junior Section boys who will move up to their new Sections in September 🙏🙏👍

As you can see the Company Section were putting the finishing touches to their Display piece items.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our BB display this Friday evening at 7:15pm in the Church Hall.

Congratulations to the five company section boys from Ballynahinch who completed this training last weekend. Well done to Andrew, Matt, Aaron, Benjamin and Peter. The boys have been working hard over the last three years to achieve their King's Badge, the highest award possible in the BB. 👏👏👏👏👏

Last night the Company section boys were treated to a presentation by Street Soccer NI hearing all about the invaluable services they provide across different areas of Northern Ireland.

We had the privilege of handing over a donation from some of the money raised through the Christmas Quiz Sheet fundraiser, thank you again for your support 👏👏👏👏👏

🏆🥇 DOWN BATTALION WINNERS 🥇🏆

CONGRATULATIONS to our Anchor Boys Duster Hockey team who won the Down Battalion competition yesterday afternoon in Clough.

The boys played fantastic with a 3 -2 win over 3rd Kilkeel in the final. Every boy did the officers proud and worked really hard.

Well done to Leo, Thomas, Arthur and Dean and to coach Sandra for preparing the boys for the competition.

Last night we enjoyed a lovely treat on the eve of Pancake Tuesday 🥞

Special thanks to our 'star bakers' for giving up their time and money to feed the whole company with freshly made pancakes.

What a choice they had and the boys didn't disappoint. Not a pancake left. Thank you so much 👏👏👏👏👏

We have a Down Battalion winner 🥳🎉

This year our Anchor Boys took part in the Anchor Boy colouring in competition. The winning entry for each year group was sent off to Down Battalion to be marked against all Down Battalion entries.

Well done to the four boys whose entries were submitted from our company, Colby (P1), Zack (P2), Jude (P3) and Adam (P4), and this year Adam won the P4 entry for the Down Battalion competition 👏👏👏

The boys were presented with their certificates at the recent Down Battalion Anchor Boys service in Kilkeel. Thank you to all the boys that came and Leo enjoyed taking part in the Story.
