CIEF (Church of Ireland Evangelical Fellowship) are hosting an evening celebration tomorrow at 7.30pm (with refreshments from 7.00pm) in Lisburn Cathedral - and it would be great to see you there!

Join others from all over the Church of Ireland in fellowship, worship, thanksgiving, in prayerfully looking forward in hope and faith to what God will do among us, and for encouraging teaching from Jim Cheshire, Archdeacon of Down. Everyone's welcome!

We loved gathering with women from around the Diocese for Encounter yesterday morning - thanks to the Diocesan team for organising, St John’s for hosting, and to the speakers and those who led worship!

We're looking forward to having Stan Kelly from The Edge as our guest speaker. Stan will wrap up our Healthy Church series with a focus on caring for and engaging with the next generation, and he'll bring some updates from the Edge and some information on how we can get involved!

Coming up over the next few weeks...

❤️ Tomorrow at 11.00am we're continuing our healthy church series with a look at what it means to live generously! This is also the last week of Sunday School - don't miss it!

🤩 Sunday 7 June at 11.00am, we have Stan from The Edge coming to share with us - why and how a healthy church cares for the next generation, and how the work of the Edge encourages and supports that!

🥳 Sunday 14 June at 11.00am is our Sunday School Celebration - an opportunity to give thanks for the past year of Sunday School and give a gift to all those who have been part of it!

🌟 Sunday 21 June at our 11.00am service and at lunch afterwards in the Church Hall, we will give thanks for the faithful ministry of Joan, our Sexton, as she retires at the end of the month. Let us know if you're coming for lunch!

We'd love you to join us for worship tomorrow morning!

As we celebrate Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit and the coming together of a crowd of people from many different backgrounds, who heard and declared the wonders of God in their own languages, we're looking forward to welcoming Tim Burns from The Suitcase Project.

Continuing our healthy church series, Tim will help us think about what it means for a healthy, Spirit-filled church to love our neighbours, welcome newcomers, and to continue to hear and declare the wonders of God in the different cultures that make up our communities!

Sunday School is on 🤩 and we're getting ready for our Sunday School celebration on Sunday 14 June - save the date!
