Great time at the last Companions before the summer break.
Mervyn and Elizabeth Gilpin visited and shared the amazing life of bees and the amazing work supporting children’s education in Uganda that the profits from their honey go to.
(Mervyn’s honey can be purchased at the cafe on Harry’s Rd )

Well done to Eric and Elliot for completing their sponsored motorbike ride around the four tallest peaks in the Uk. They set off on Wednesday evening and travelled to Scafell in England, Ben Nevis, Scotland, Snowdon in Wales and finished up today at Slieve Donald - well done guys in your fundraising challenge for Aid to Ukraine

A fantastic afternoon at Companions yesterday - with a stylish fashion show presented by The Helping Hinch Plus charity shop volunteers.
They put on a fantastic show displaying beautiful buys that can be snapped up in the shop - where all profits go back into the community .

A fantastic Easter special at Companions on Wednesday , with some special guests who started up and ran Companions years ago … some of the dream team still help out today.
And a very special day for Betty Wilson, our former Pastor Hadden’s wife who celebrated her 90th birthday with a wonderful Afternoon tea with us .
Hadden shared with us all some of the happy memories and spiritual truth he and Betty have learned in their lives and ministries
