Since 1912, Fairfield United has been the neighbourhood’s space to deepen relationships, celebrate belonging and create meaning. We believe a community of all ages, family styles and genders living together is sacred and authentic. By weaving ancient and modern Christian rhythms into our lives, we experience what matters every day and are empowered to make a difference in the world. We are affiliated and supported by The United Church of Canada, the British Columbia Conference, and Victoria Presbytery.

🕯️ All Souls Day at All Souls at Fairfield United Church

Some people stay with us. In the stories we tell, the recipes we cannot quite get right, the words we hear ourselves saying.

This Sunday, we’ll make room for those we carry in our hearts. We’ll light candles, speak their names, and share communion—a table where we remember that we belong to one another.

Bring yourself, your memories, your grief, your gratitude. There is room for all of it. And room for you.

Join us on the fourth Sunday of the month for worship in the style of Taizé—a gentle, contemplative gathering of song, silence, and prayer. There is no sermon, only the invitation to rest, to listen, and to be. Icons, music, and stillness weave together a prayerful atmosphere where the soul can breathe and unfold in God’s love.

9:30AM: There will be a one-hour service featuring a brief sermon and communion, or a Taizé style worship.

10:30AM - 11:30AM: Enjoy coffee, goodies, and meaningful conversations in community. **(Except on Taizé Sundays!)**

You’re welcome to join us for one part, all of these, or follow the movement of the Spirit as you feel called. Everyone is welcome in our Sanctuary.
