Our garden is looking lovely. A big thank you to the crew that came out this evening to spruce up the back garden at the Inner Quest Foundation, while Bob and Troy trimmed up the front.

We shared some laughs, enjoying a beautiful evening outdoors. A very kind stranger stopped and asked to help us trim the top of our tall hedge.

If you are with us this Sunday, take some time to enjoy sitting in our back patio afterwards for a coffee and visit with community.

Doors open at 10 am Sunday for a 10:30 am start.

On Sunday , we honoured a meaningful milestone in a long journey that began in 1854, when Spiritualists first gathered in Victoria and moved through several homes before finally breaking ground at 1600 Cook Street eighty years ago.

What began in 1946 as the simple act of breaking ground has become a place of steady return, shaped by generations of learning, service and spiritual practice. With a full house, warm community time and a celebration marking the day, we stood together in gratitude for all who have carried this work forward.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, in person and our online community.

The Open Door Spiritualist Sanctuary marks a meaningful milestone this month: 80 years since the first turning of soil at its new location, 1600 Cook Street, on April 28, 1946.

What began as an act of placing roots into new ground has, over time, become a place of steady return, a sanctuary where generations have gathered in learning, in service and in the deepening of spiritual practice.
We invite the community to join us on Sunday, April 26th for the service honouring this living legacy.

Doors open at 10:00 am, with no entry after 10:30 am in order to preserve the integrity of the service. Community time will follow.

All are welcome to stand with us in this moment of gratitude, continuity, and quiet remembrance.
