First Met C.Y.Y.A.F.

First Met C.Y.Y.A.F. A nurturing community for children, youth, young adults, and families with a desire for the spiritual quest.

Exciting, safe, values-based, diverse programs are shared in an inclusive and caring environment. Sunday School is available during the 11am worship at First Met. Children start in the sanctuary with their families and are then escorted to age-appropriate classes after participating in the beginning of the service. There is a sound-proof room in the back of the sanctuary where parents with babies

or small children can view the service while keeping their baby with them as well as a nursery classroom available. Some of the programs available to children, youth, and families in our community include:
Mother's Morning Out (two Friday mornings a month)
a Children's Choir (approx 6-12 years)
weekly Sunday School classes for all children
three Youth Groups (each age group meets twice a month)
Percussion and Drum lessons
College and Career group for young adults (once/month)
Family Potlucks (one Friday each month)
